From the Other Side ...
Unlike many perfume enthusiasts here, I am probably one of the few who had the chance to sniff Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette BEFORE the first contact with "Aventus (Eau de Parfum) | Creed".

For some time now, Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette has carved out a frequently visited spot in my fragrance collection. The super sour opening and this wonderfully lightly smoky continuation make it a scent that clearly makes a statement, perceptible to others but by no means intrusive. It is liked by everyone around me and is perceived as pleasant. That’s why I enjoy wearing it to dinner with friends, to the beer garden, for game nights, or simply because I feel like it.
Recently, I finally got to experience "Aventus (Eau de Parfum) | Creed" at the upscale department store in the Swabian metropolis, and aside from the opening (more on the pineapple side), the inspiration is definitely recognizable.
Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette comes across as a bit sharper and more pronounced in everything. And that’s exactly what I like about Club de Nuit Intense Man Eau de Toilette even better than its more expensive brother. I may have an untrained and unrefined nose here, but I would actually prefer the cheaper of the two fragrances - and not because of the price but because of the scent that suits me better.

Conclusion: Even without the comparison to the luxury scent, a solid perfume for many occasions that is enjoyable, fun, and lasts a long time with a lot of character.

Hardly there, and it's already gone.
Something about this fragrance has captivated me. I love this composition. "Fresh-Spicy" really hits the mark here, especially an incredible lightness of being that I can sense. And the interplay of freshness with the tobacco and floral notes is truly wonderful. It suits every season and every situation, doesn't bother anyone, delights everyone, brings joy and good mood. I want to smell like this all day, every day!

Unfortunately, this is exactly the central problem. The whole day only becomes enjoyable with intense and frequent reapplication. The longevity is really incredibly poor; after two hours, the fun is over for me. Even with my nose right at the spray point, I can no longer catch a whiff of that wonderful scent. For that, the little potion - even with Gucci on it - is definitely too expensive for me.

In summary, I can only give a good rating for the fragrance and the massive bottle; unfortunately, the other criteria really fall through the cracks. What a shame!

Can Man(n) Wear It!
My first niche fragrance, my first Montale. And I must say, I’ve spent way too long in designer circles. Soleil de Capri has shown me the quality differences and the nuances that can exist in the fragrance game. This is a whole different league. The scent is so clean, clear, and balanced; I have never experienced anything like it before. Thank you, Montale!

The fragrance itself is a wonderfully delicious-soft orange scent that suggests a lot of sweetness, which in reality isn’t there at all. And that’s exactly why I believe this scent can definitely be worn by a man!
It may come across like a candy, but the fresh floral note amidst the sweetness makes it feel light, clean, elegant, and wearable. With this fragrance, a man doesn’t say "here comes the hammer with the rusty moped" but rather "it’s great that we can all have fun on a sunny day and enjoy life." Especially after the pandemic, THAT is the message I want to send, and that’s why this fragrance fits perfectly into the times and also suits a modern man.

The longevity and sillage are, as expected for such a fragrance, rather average. Even as a Montale variant, the summer fun is only perceptible to me for about 4 hours. I will soon test a layering with Molecule 01 or "Molecule 02 | Escentric Molecules." Especially the Ambrox bomb could give the fragrance a more masculine touch and calm the doubters who think "this is too feminine." Let’s see.

I’m definitely looking forward to a delicious summer filled with football, Fanta, friends, and a super nice delicious scent from France.

The Lighter One
As I was sniffing around in the fragrance retailer's rooms, I simply couldn't decide between Versace pour Homme Eau de Toilette and "Versace Man Eau Fraîche (Eau de Toilette) | Versace," so I actually just packed both. To me, they were quite similar, and I liked both little waters. However, now that I've been using the siblings for a while, I seem to be slowly figuring out when, where, and how I want to wear each of the fragrances.

The Versace Man Eau Fraîche Eau de Toilette is the slightly sharper and even fresher scent. The top note is more acidic, zesty, and refreshing. This remains linear for me throughout its entire lifespan; not much changes here, and the listed base notes are hardly perceptible to me. It is and remains citrusy with full force, but not for long. The longevity and sillage are quite limited and actually fade away suddenly. As soon as the fresh notes from the top and heart disappear, there is promptly nothing else left.

Nevertheless, and perhaps precisely because of this, I love this scent in the morning while working from home. It invigorates me at work, wakes me up, and allows the first tasks of the day to flow easily. The fact that it is no longer present after lunch leaves the option open for another fragrance that day (e.g., the brother), and this way I just get a bit more into the rotation ;-)

All in all, it is exactly what it says on the label: a fresh little water that brings a zesty feeling on a hot day and leaves room for the more complex fragrances in the afternoon and evening.

Irresistible!
After just finishing my sample of Light Blue pour Homme Forever that I ordered through parfumo, this will probably be the first fragrance that I will actually reorder in a full bottle after the trial.

This stuff fits wonderfully with the current weather. The previously non-existent summer is slowly peeking through on certain days and then hits with full humidity and sunshine. And it’s just delightful to have this slightly bitter, incredibly grapefruit-like shimmer around and to be constantly reminded that such a fruity cocktail over ice would really be something delicious right now.

Unfortunately, Light Blue pour Homme Forever lasts for me - contrary to the usual reviews here - somehow only as long as the aforementioned cocktail at the bar. The great scent quickly heads towards the skin for me and doesn’t stay there for too long either. I will try it here with a base of "Molecule 01 | Escentric Molecules," maybe I can boost the longevity a bit.

But despite the longevity: For me, it’s an ideal summer fragrance that will make the upcoming heatwaves something very tasty. I’m looking forward to it.
