A sweet scent suitable for summer
The sweetness of blackcurrant is held back by tonka bean. The combination of aromatic notes and sage provides a relaxing texture to the rest of the notes. The overall scent is light despite its sweetness, making it suitable for hotter temperatures (30-38 C).

It gives a slightly moderate projection during the first hour until it settles into a skin scent, where tonka bean is more pronounced. It lasts a freaking long time since I had worn it during a hot field work and I could still smell wafts of it in the afternoon. The sillage is also not very strong (about an arm's length) so you might want to spray more.

I commend the artistry of the bottle. The metallic parts evoke edginess while the vibrant blueness and graffiti give a free spirited character. The atomizer is effective in dispersing large amounts of the perfume.

Classy and professional
The strongest note for me is lavender, which gives of that barbershop/aftershave scent. As the initial top notes dissipate, the sweet honey and metallic notes start to tame it.

It is marketed as an eau de toilette but its projection is above average (2-3 sprays are enough for me) and maintains a scent bubble for 2-3 hours. Then I would still smell wafts of it from time to time, until it dies down to a skin scent for a long time, leaving the combination of sweet honey and metallic base. This is unobtrusive if you are going to layer something sweet for the evening.

Personally, it is another hit for me from Penhaligon's. I might get a bottle after my daily driver runs out.

White flowers on a summer day
The strongest scents for my nose are the Arabian jasmine and ylang-ylang with a backdrop of tangerine (or it might be the neroli note?) and vanilla. The creaminess lingers up to the flowery drydown. There's a certain holiness to the overall creamy concoction.

In my opinion, it is one of the best Penhaligon's fragrances I've smelled yet. Having said that, it leans towards feminine. I plan to gift this to my mother.

Fougere with hints of vanilla, tobacco, and oud
A green spicy fougere, almost aromatic, is the frontman of this scent, with a backdrop of vanilla sweetness, and inoffensive drop of tobacco and oud. After the projection fades, only vanilla remains on skin. Sillage and longevity are above average. Like other Penhaligon's fragrances, this is super wearable.

I don't love it but close enough. I might gift this to my father.

Green fruits plus metallic notes
In my nose, I can detect a closely knit combination of metallic notes (which are sharper upon spraying) and a deep fruity note (can't pinpoint if its pear, green banana, or lime). Average sillage makes it good for office. Longevity is average also; cannot detect it on my skin after three hours.

It's unique and I like it, but not bottle-worthy for me.
