Quiet feel-good scent without major highlights and with low longevity
I have a kind of love-hate relationship with Guerlain: a fragrance like Shalimar is personally too intense-heavy for me, while L'Instant Magique, for example, is a bit too unspectacular (then the Elixir has to come, which is really great). I would rather compare Nuit d'Amour to the aforementioned L'Instant Magique: a powdery feel-good scent that, contrary to its name, becomes an all-rounder after the deep opening, which can definitely be worn during the day and on many occasions. As can be seen here, the "Amour" component is clearly underrepresented for me in this fragrance; instead, in my opinion, it is a perfume that conveys care and well-being. I find the sillage and longevity to be far too low. Overall, unfortunately, a disappointment for such a big name as Guerlain.
