"Layton on steroids?"
Hi folks,
This fragrance is often described as the "Layton on steroids." I was absolutely disappointed with "Casino Elixir 2.0 | The Dua Brand / Dua Fragrances" and couldn't understand the hype, but this scent...
Top note: Catastrophic. This is an attar/pure perfume oil, and those unpleasant oil notes are clearly pronounced in the top note.
Heart and base note (after about 5 minutes): Oh my God. Layton with more spices and a slightly balsamic touch, which I really enjoy. The gentle vanilla-apple strudel note in Layton is not as elegant here, but it is excellently spicy, fruity, and balsamic in combination with the Layton DNA.
H/S: Of all the fragrances I have tested in my life so far, "Royal Chariot Attar | The Dua Brand / Dua Fragrances" is one of the most long-lasting, if not the longest-lasting scent. However, since it is an attar and the fragrance cannot spread as well due to the lack of alcohol, the sillage is "only" good.
Negative: You cannot spray the attar on your clothing; the oil will ruin your clothes. Be careful!
By now, it's one of my top favorites in my collection.
Best regards :)

The Price-Performance Monster
Hello everyone,
There are few fragrances that I consider to be in the "ultimate spectrum" of the perfume world, but this is a perfume that definitely belongs there.
Don't be fooled by the 7.9 rating, even though it's not really bad. However, an Oriental lover will most likely rate this scent no lower than 8.5.
An absolutely elegant praline with prominent oud and a fine vanilla note. Really great! What sets this fragrance apart even more is its monstrous longevity and sillage. Folks, I am someone who enjoys scents that have a longevity/sillage comparable to the vintage versions of Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette and "Kouros (Eau de Toilette) | Yves Saint Laurent." I know what scent bombs those used to be and still are for many, and right here I can tell you: YES! Finally, a fragrance that can compete in this league. At least 16 hours of longevity with continuous sillage... fantastic. If you want to stand out, you can't go wrong with this scent. In my opinion, however, this fragrance can also be worn by more reserved individuals due to its gentle scent profile. A unisex masterpiece with a longevity/sillage that is unmatched. A must-have for this price!
Best regards

The Ultimate in the World of Perfume
Yes, many will bang their heads against the wall, as Jeremy so beautifully puts it, and yes, many will be surprised by this review, but for me, this fragrance is one of the very few "perfect scents." Before you stop reading, let me explain why.
1. A "true" unisex fragrance that develops differently on every skin. When a woman wears this perfume, I wonder how I can like this scent so much, but when I wear it, I feel like the Godfather... Rough, edgy, dark, gloomy, and mysterious. Damn it, Tom, how did you come up with the idea to release such a polarizing scent as the first fragrance of your brand... No risk, no fun, I would say.
2. Absolutely unique DNA that you won't come across quickly while shopping or elsewhere. In my opinion, this is a key point in choosing a signature scent.
3. Very good longevity and sillage. Lasts at least 10 hours with continuous sillage on my skin.
4. People will remember you. Whenever I wear this fragrance and meet someone again who has smelled it on me, they say: "You were wearing that extraordinary perfume last time, right?" In my opinion, this is also an important criterion for choosing a signature scent.
5. Polarizing. A criterion that can be seen positively or negatively. Folks, this fragrance has impact and is unafraid of anything or anyone. If you don't wear this scent, it wears you, so be aware that this fragrance is not for everyone. The same goes for the scent DNA. In Europe, floral-oriental fragrances, especially on men, don't really go over well (perhaps that's why this fragrance has a questionable rating).
In summary, this fragrance is a true masterpiece for me. Even though Tom Ford is not a niche brand per se, he clearly shows through such creations that the scent DNA of most Tom Ford fragrances definitely falls into the niche category. From my perspective, a must-have!
Best regards :)
