Fovere, forever or forget?
The scent reminds me of my grandpa's poker room. Nostalgic warmth that conquered me immediately.
Fovere starts for me boozy, herbaceous, slightly spicy due to the ginger but also fresh due to the bergamot, like a strong rum coke that grandpa liked to drink.
The poker room was of course furnished with a wooden table and chairs. Grandma had added beautiful flowers as decoration, and of course there was smoke, which didn't mean it stank. On the contrary, it was warm and cozy.
The longer the rounds went on, the hungrier we got. And we ate cookies. What kind of cookies? Well, my grandma's lovely vanilla cookies, they smelled so vanilla-y and like tonka beans (grandma's secret for good cookies).
