The start of something grand.
This is the one that started my interest in fragrances. I had a few bottles of different things in my life up until I got this, but this... this is the one that made me see perfumery is an art. I love this cologne.

On my skin it opens with a bright vibrant citrus, Bergamot and lemon. Within 10 minutes it moves into a herby Shiso. It's like, a gentleman's mint. This moves on into a beautiful, deep, sweet woody scent. The shiso I can smell throughout the entire evolution of the fragrance, which is maybe why I love it so much. It plays behind the citrus in the opening, giving it depth and backbone, then it takes centre stage and is bright and full, and it finally goes hand in hand with the beautiful woody dry down. It gives it this sweet warmth.

This reminds me of getting out of the shower at the private Country club after a game of Tennis or Golf. You spray this on, and the hop into your classic car that has more zeros on its price tag than its Odometer.

I think the longevity on this is phenomenal for the fact that it is an EDC. A lower concentration than even the EDT, and I can still smell it wafting up from under my shirt after 6 hours. The sillage is more intimate, but to me this feels like something to be discovered, not announced. It is meant to be understated class.

The bottle is the class ADP vase shape, thick clear glass that feels good in the hand. The cap is plastic, but it fits well over the atomizer and looks good.

This is well blended, well crafted art that will always make me smile. I love it.
