Perhaps the most surprising thing is that I don't hate this. It's sweet, but not in the way so many modern designer gourmands are (which I usually find cloying and unbearable). I still find the marketing from this house to be hopelessly gaudy -- in their own words, the goal is "blending the most luxurious materials to complement the most affluent global lifestyles" -- but I will begrudgingly admit this succeeds at smelling very expensive and is quite good for what it is. Not something I feel compelled to buy, but I think it succeeds on its own terms.

Starts off complex with a lot going on; fresh, flowery, green, sweet, woody, boozy and a mild coffee aroma. They all work very well together and it's the most interesting part. Because within a couple of hours, it all goes simpler, many notes disappear, it becomes quite sweet and with an emphasis on vanilla. The direction is now gone to a soft and sweet, almost to the point of classifying it a gourmand boozy/vanilla/sandalwood/musk which is nice smelling, but not that expensive or rich as the beginning. In fact, it goes from something unique to something common, widely felt with that vanilla based drydown.

Ein weiterer großartiger Xerjoff Zitrusduft...hochwertige Inhaltsstoffe...scharf, knackig und aromatisch...allerdings nicht sehr originell...riecht wie Joe Malone's Lime Basil and Mandarin...hat nur einen schönen frischen minzigen Akzent anstelle des herben Basilikum-Akzents...sehr aromatisch...ein schöner und erfrischender Sommerduft...trage ihn gerne...
