New fragrance enthusiasts may enjoy…
Certainly modern, fresh and green, like a green musk without the musk being overbearing. Versatile, and safe. Performance is average.

Not the same, but if you like Myslf you would like this as it’s a little more crisp with less sourness.

For the rest of us that have been in this hobby for a while, there’s nothing to see here. I love Prada, but this is extremely uninspired. Since its a new line though, perhaps this goes the way of Luna Rossa with some excellent flankers??

It smells good though and if this was my first fragrance I’d buy it. But because my nose has smelled so many similar things there’s no reason for me to pick up a bottle. This is marketed for the masses though and with the good smell, it will likely do well.

No person into masculine leaning scents should be without
Although this is fresh, it’s more like a noble freshness. Crisp, green and timeless the lemon verbena and violet leaf works so well in this that I think they are the stars of the show. I will say I do get a sense of “Irish spring soap“ in this, but I know that not everybody does and with that I mean it in a very good way.

This fragrance doesn’t chase trends because it is the actual benchmark. Even though it’s been around for a long time, I feel like if it were to come out anew today it would still be beloved.

Always in top 10
Between this and reflection 45 it will always be in my top 10. This is probably a little more airy than 45 which is denser, but it is beautiful nonetheless.

The neroli and jasmine give it a luminous soapy floral sparkle, and I’m not a super fan of jasmine all of the time because it can get screechy but here it’s just right.

The sandalwood and patchouly in the base are very smooth in the dry down and come off as creamy.

The vibe for me is: well put together, elegant, professional, and slightly opulent. I’m not saying this as a bad thing, but this is probably the safest offering from the house.

Evaluate it on it's own...
I realize Alexandria is a clone house, but I feel like, in order to fully appreciate this fragrance, evaluate it fully on it's own. Frankly, it's not really 100% like Creed Original Vetiver. It's not AS green, maybe more woody. On it's own, it's just a good fragrance, and for the price, you can't beat it. It leans masculine, anyone can wear it, and I would suspect it shines in Spring/Fall, but you could wear it any time. Also, it's not generic...it has character and depth. I have no complaints.

Enjoying this fragrance (again) in the summer...
Of course, you don't have to only wear it in the summer.

When you spray this, there is a sense of coolness where melted snow and leaves mixed with some tea and musk are present. If you're not familiar with glacial runoff, don't fret, you can be born in dust and silence, and still appreciate this.

There's been plenty of great descriptions of the smell, but I will add to my above description that it's almost like the handle of the freezer door in old stores where they had ice and beer stored. And, something green, but a clean green that isn't loud.

This has character and depth, but is paradoxically not complex to me. I guess it doesn't have to be complex but it's a weird sensation.
