Sundialing

I'm not usually a floral person at all, I tend towards gourmand scents almost all of the time, but this perfume is lovely. I only managed to get a small size of it a couple years ago before it was discontinued, and was sad when I decided I wanted a full bottle a couple weeks later only for it to be off the shelves, still yet to return. It's a sweet, slightly fruity floral scent that doesn't smell powdery or overwhelming to me.

Initially, it's very strongly floral to me, I think mostly jasmine, but it eventually settles down to a very powdery scent with a touch of floral behind it. I've never been the biggest floral fan, so this was a risky purchase, and while I think I could have worn it, I didn't like it enough to keep it around and so sold it to someone who loved the scent.

This reminds me so much of Bath and Bodyworks Bonfire Bash, which is one of my favourite BBW scents. It smells like vanilla with a hint of bonfire in the back, sticks around pretty well on my skin for several hours, and isn't so strong that I think it would be offensive to someone standing near me. This is absolutely one I'll be keeping an eye out for during sales as I'd love to get it

Smells extremely citrus-y to me on first spray, but quickly the citrus dissipates and becomes a faint but still there scent. the strongest scent on dry-down for me is a sweet, toffee/biscuit scent. Someone who smelled it on me asked if it was the Super Milk hair primer, so it smells very close to that.

Definitely my favourite of the Glossier perfumes I've tried, out of the original, Reve, and Doux, I thought I would like Doux the least, but it wound up being my favourite by far. It's has that "clean scent" in the background but it's not overwhelming, and while vanilla isn't a scent note, I find on my skin there's noticeable vanilla or creaminess that I don't get from the bottle itself. The pink pepper note isn't overwhelming either, and compliments the rest of the perfume well.
