So this is it, my ultimate feel-good scent, which cannot be surpassed at P/L. The scent is so good on my skin that I can't stop smelling myself. Everyone and everyone is giving me a compliment! It is warm, soft, fluffy and smells so good in the base 12 hours after application that it is really difficult to get the lady off my neck in the morning. La nuit de l'homme radiates a fresh, green feel-good aroma without ever becoming lazy or boring. YSL, you did it. Who needs Barny Stinson's Playbook when he's got your magic tincture that fills up your self-confidence so much that it could last forever.

Spices. Tobacco. Vanilla.

As soon as the cold season begins, I look forward to Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanilla. It's one of those scents that makes you feel like the perfect, whole world. Christmas with the family. You bake cookies together, laugh a lot, drink mulled wine together and the children play quietly in the corner with their presents. Sounds like Hollywood. Movies from the 60s when the world seemed to be still so fine. But isn't that great? Isn't that great? And I love diving into that world.

Musk. Musk does to me exactly what it's supposed to do. It brings out the tiger in me. The ladies pendant was worn by a friend for a long time, which often made me doubt my good upbringing. When she came into the room and wore this scent, my animal side was awakened each time and I literally wanted to bite her neck. Don't worry - I could control myself until today.
So taken with the scent, I tried "for him" and was not disappointed. It is not wearable for everyone - not by a long shot. You need that animal side to it. Biker boots and beard fit much better than sailing shoes or office outfit.

You get noticed and the ladies notice it.
Some people certainly dislike this fragrance all along the line, but in drydown it becomes so unobtrusive and charming that it can certainly lead to some nice evenings...

Imagine you are sitting in late summer in a garden in Italy full of trees of citrus fruits. The sun has completely filled up your vitamin D household during the day. Your skin literally smells and tastes like it. You take a deep breath and relax. The bergamot, lemons, oranges and grapefruit give you a feeling of unprecedented freshness. A perfect balance, as you would find in a perfect gin and tonic with lemon. You don't scream for more, you enjoy this feeling of well-being. You relax

Aventus. The name alone is enough of a statement.
It is THE niche fragrance of recent years. Probably one of the few that have paved their way into the mainstream. The Ronaldo among fragrances. Even if my wife doesn't know anything about football, Ronaldo knows her, just like she knows Aventus.

The smell is really great! It is fresh, fruity, smoky - everything a male fragrance needs. A compliment monster when freshly applied.

Only its short durability makes it a fragrance that makes you think about buying it again for its sporty price.

I think Aventus will remain Ronaldo forever. Only no longer the one from Portugal, but the one from Brazil.
