The Cucumber No. 1
What could go wrong with a fragrance that has been promoted by our Jeremy more than any other cheapie? Moreover, it was probably number 1 on Amazon.
It must be something, right?! Well... not really.

Upon spraying, you immediately get a burst of freshness, and then suddenly there's this apple..... No, sorry, not an apple, unfortunately, but cucumber. And it's so overpowering that you feel like you're standing in front of the vegetable aisle in a supermarket.
This cucumber unfortunately stays until the end. The good thing is, the scent itself doesn't last that long.... poor longevity can have its advantages.

Voyage feels very cheap. While you can't necessarily sniff out the price of other cheapies, like "Asad | Lattafa / لطافة" in the same price range, you can immediately tell with Nautica.

In line with that, the bottle only looks good as long as you don't hold it in your hands.
The cap might have once been metal... Yes, with the current cap, even John Wick couldn't do anything with it, or in other words, Voyage shares this with some Creed batches... the cheap plastic cap.

There are so many better options for the money, like Missoni Wave or "Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes | Zara," for example.

Conclusion:
Terrible cucumber broth, sold it immediately.

Past and Present
Where do I start here.... It is the scent that guided me from the Pumas and Bruno B.s of this world into the true world of perfume during my youth.
Whether for a party or just for shopping, Le Male was always there. I honestly can't say how many bottles I have used up. Back then, the fragrance was stronger, spicier, and heavier. Sprayed on Saturday evenings around 6 PM, you could still smell it clearly by Sunday afternoon.

A masterpiece by Francis Kurkdjian.

That was the past, but what about the present?!

Well, I still like this scent.
But it has been heavily reformulated. It is still not a summer fragrance, but it has become a bit lighter.
Cardamom, mint, and vanilla are not as loud as they used to be, but the lavender is still quite noticeable.

The old Le Male could not, by any means, be called "Office Safe." The current version, however, can. Le Male has thus become more versatile. You can now wear this fragrance on occasions where something a bit less is better.

The sillage is no longer beast mode; I would rate it as good. It’s sufficient for a workday.

Not much needs to be said about the bottle; you either hate it or love it.
The spray nozzle is typically JPG and belongs to the better ones.

Le Male is still wearable today, but there are better alternatives, even from JPG itself.

The Modern Le Male
!Warning! This is a deeply subjective review from a long-time JPG fanboy.

The Scent:
One word: Cardamom. That’s what you primarily notice at the start. Quickly, however, the typical Le Male lavender joins in with a hint of iris. Later, vanilla comes in with some indefinable woods for me, rounding off this great scent. It’s not an aggressive vanilla like in Spicebomb Extreme or "Club Black | Mercedes-Benz", rather a vanilla that observes from the background but stays until the end. The Le Male DNA comes through here repeatedly; Le Parfum feels like a modern Le Male.

The Performance:
On my skin, it is, as they say, a "beast mode" perfume. It can be detected on the skin for 10 hours, and on clothing, significantly longer. Projection and sillage are room-filling for me.
I often receive compliments with this scent from my girlfriend and friends; even at work, I have been positively approached about Le Parfum.

Presentation:
JPG typical in the can with my body as the bottle..... no sorry, with a male body as the bottle, just as you know from JPG. The combination of glossy black alternating with matte stripes and a golden spray head looks very elegant.

Conclusion:
This one has captivated me; rarely has a fragrance DNA been developed so excellently.
