Imagination: My summer fragrance 2024
In my search for a summer fragrance for 2024, I came across the much-hyped 
Imagination. At first I was put off by the very high price, but I tested the fragrance with a bottling I bought here in the souk.
As I had imagined the fragrance to be completely different, I was not very convinced after the first sniff. After a few days, I tried it again and wore it several times. Suddenly the bottle was empty and I knew I had to have it.
Although I didn't like the fragrance at first, I can't imagine life without it now.
For me, the fragrance starts off citrusy and very fresh, immediately putting me in a good mood as soon as I spray it on. The citrusiness fades a little over time, but remains present until the drydown, when other fragrance notes are added. I think the fragrance also develops a slight spiciness, which is probably due to the cinnamon and ginger it contains. The neroli gives the fragrance a pleasant sweetness, and the very pleasant black tea note rounds off the whole thing.
It is impressive how harmoniously the individual fragrance notes blend together. Despite my untrained nose, the different notes are recognizable. No note pushes itself to the fore, creating a beautiful balance.
Longevity and sillage are both very good. Even after four hours, the sillage is still perceptible. On the skin or on clothing, the fragrance can be smelled for much longer. You can easily survive a full working day of eight hours with this fragrance.
The bottle is very attractive, with a great design and high-quality finish, which is to be expected at this price. The bottle itself is transparent, and the turquoise color comes from the perfume.
Conclusion:
WithImagination, Louis Vuitton has created a very pleasant, fresh, feel-good fragrance that is perfect for the office or everyday wear, especially in the warmer months. Unfortunately, the price is correspondingly high at €280 for 100 ml. Nevertheless, the fragrance DNA convinced me so much that "Imagination" became my first high-priced fragrance. After all, you can have the fragrance refilled for a little less money - you have to talk yourself into the price somehow ;)
