I watched a video by Demi Rawling and she praised the fragrance to the skies, so I ordered a sample.

I tested it when it was relatively warm and also in combination with my sunscreen. I never expected it to smell so good and fit so well, and it was bearable in the heat. I kept sticking my nose to my arm. I needed a bottle. I waited forever for it, as I, being a penny pincher, ordered it from a dubious site with a generous discount (Beautywelt, for those who are wondering). The shipping took about three weeks, which none of us are used to anymore. But the wait was worth it.

The packaging is very beautiful and high-quality, providing a silky bed for the bottle and leaves you hoping for more. The bottle itself has an orange gradient and feels heavy and premium. The cap squeaks a little bit. There is a metal plaque on the neck of the bottle, which I find somewhat cute, because when using it, it jingles, similar to some fragrances from Goutal.

The scent:
It is incredibly soothing, syrupy, sweet, and balsamic, almost thick and honey-like, and I also get something like dates, raisins, or dried fruits. I think I smell mostly vanilla, rum, and balsam, but also the smoky notes.

And now special images come to my mind again. I think of the south, summer evenings with spectacular sunsets, nature, riding on a horse, a ship with many different spices, old wood. I also somehow think of the Orient and dunes.

I wouldn't even categorize it into a specific season, as it, as I said, works well for me even in heat, but then comes across quite differently than at moderate temperatures. I am already looking forward to experiencing how it is in autumn and winter. I believe it is underrated, but I don't find that too bad, then not everyone has it.

Conclusion: I do not regret the purchase and would also pay the MSRP.

This fragrance touches me on a deep inner level, sometimes even moves me to tears because it is just so beautiful. It evokes something in me that doesn't happen often, given my now greater experience with perfumes.

This year, I have discovered fresher scents for myself, and this one is among them, but it is still deep, noble, long-lasting, soothing, and at the same time uplifting. Sometimes I feel like it’s just him and me; it creates a special moment. Not necessarily right after the opening, but about two minutes later, the magic begins.

I perceive it as zesty, somewhat herbal, balsamic, but also sweet and herbal.

I have no idea why, but I get associations of a stud farm, of old nobility, of tranquility, of decadence, dark wood, and walks in late summer at dusk. But in a special calmness, as if the world is turning slower, and finally, it is okay to switch off and let go. The bottle probably contributes to this as well.

Yes, it is expensive, and with some perfumes, I later think that I could have saved that. But with this one, it was worth it. I am so glad to have it. It gives me confidence in an adult, elevated way. Of course, everything is a matter of taste, and from pure devotion to cleaning product vibes, everything seems to be present. But it is definitely worth a test.

I believe the scent is special and not mainstream. You can smell the berries, not just one type, but a mix. However, I perceive the raspberries more intensely. The waffle note quickly joins in. It is easily recognizable and also realistic. The vanilla ties the other notes together. The scent is very long-lasting and intense. On clothing, it lasts longer than six hours.

The saleswoman at my favorite perfume store always calls it the Nutella scent. In that respect, I am a bit biased. I think it has aspects of that, but it smells more serious and complex, more adult. I first perceive roasted hazelnut and coffee, then the floral components come in, and the musk joins in. I can smell the hazelnut for a long time, and in the dry down, it becomes increasingly vanilla-like. I have sprayed it on before going to sleep, and in the morning it was still distinctly noticeable. And it wasn't a 2-hour night.

One of the most amazing coconut scents I have. It smells a bit earthy and also somewhat salty, but by no means cheap. Paired with the matching cream, it gains more depth, as this also has a chocolaty component for me. And it’s sexy too, so suitable for evenings. With body sprays, you usually have to apply more, but here the longevity is quite decent.
