Trillium

A welcome reprieve from Clinique’s Happy and other blasters from the 1990s - softer, lighter, with better, more classic floral notes.

My one foray into the aquatic genre, unfortunately it never “melded” with my chemistry. Most likely the geranium note was to blame.

The original was a whole, entire freshly cut lawn in a bottle, so fresh and summery but unfortunately headache-inducing.

It was my mom’s signature scent, familiar and warm from another lifetime.

The original formulation is a light and airy child ballerina’s first recital bouquet: carnations, baby’s breadth and a single rose.
