See you in Cornwall my Dear
This perfume smells like exquisite English rose soap. The scent is also reminiscent of some pink fragrant garden roses. However, it leans more towards the bud that is just beginning to open, as the lily of the valley is quite present and gives the fragrance a budding quality, making it feel rather fresh-green like in spring.
This is a scent only for hardcore rose lovers. There are no surprises, no sophisticated combinations, and no depths to be found here. Many might find it too conservative, but I love this traditional English style. I feel like a lady strolling through her magnificent rose garden just for pleasure, as the gardener does all the work :-)

This is an age-independent, spring-like women's fragrance, but it is more suited for adulthood, as the rose-soap note brings no sweetness or fruitiness.
90% because while the scent is very beautiful, it lacks anything unique.

P.S.: Thank you Coco for the deal :-)

Edit: I have been wearing the new fragrance on my wrist for quite a while now, and I am completely enchanted. This is probably the most feminine scent I have ever worn. No seduction, no sex, nothing dirty, just pure enchantment. I am already feeling a bit dizzy. Super rose scent!!!

Alter Rosengarten
After many rose fragrances have been negatively compared to grandma's rose soap, I have to say here ....
this one is not comparable in the slightest.
The top note is immediately strong and "rosy," but of the most beautiful kind, reminiscent of the scent of old rose varieties from the 18th and 19th centuries. These beautiful, full, and once-blooming varieties. Every year in June, I have to visit the rose garden just for these beauties, where there is a special corner for the old varieties. With good humidity and best in the morning, it's simply dreamy. I just can't get my nose away from it...
Normally, I find pure or nearly pure rose scents slightly musty, like dried rose petals. This one is original, as if I sniffed directly at the bloom.
Unfortunately, this purity only lasts in the top note.
No, no, it doesn't turn bad over time; it takes on a slightly soapy and fresh quality. Somehow clean and innocent.
The rose continues to set the tone but steps back and doesn't become "too much."
And then it becomes wonderfully creamy.
Unfortunately, the longevity for me is only mmmh, well ... But in the top note....

It could very well be that this has to serve as a substitute for my beloved old roses until next June;)

Evelyn Rose in the Garden..
how wonderfully uplifting it is to have the scent of the real Evelyn Rose (English Rose) from the renowned breeder David Austin in your nose while sipping your favorite tea on the terrace. Delightful!! *swoon*..

Its color is anything but dark. It shines in a bright peach-orange with a yellow center from which the most floral and fruity rose scent emerges. A joy and pure luxury for me to nurture this rose in my garden, to care for it, and to taste it in the form of rose jelly :-) lovely, lovely..

The perfume comes very close to the rose.. fruity and rosy, not old-fashioned, grandma-like or musty-soapy, but equipped with a natural warmth that gives one a feeling of warming freshness with a rose accent.

A scent for all age groups, but more for the fine, quiet moments of the day when you can let yourself go. The addictive factor is high for rose lovers, as I find it a very successful rose masterpiece from the house of Crabtree & Evelyn (the name of the rose)..

Best regards, Summer Night

The Black Tea Rose
My first experience with Crabtree & Evelyn was very good; the fragrance I tested was very beautiful, although it was unfortunately a bit weak in terms of longevity. It was Himalayan Blue, which I liked especially because of the lovely black tea.

And now comes another fragrance from this brand, which I almost always pronounce as Crabtea, perhaps due to the tea note back then. Let's see how I like the scent when there’s no tea to smell *oooh…. what a shame…*

So, I’ll quickly brew myself a tea (hmm… so many varieties to choose from,… hmm… okay, I’ll take black tea again as usual… what’s wrong with that?).

Let’s get to the fragrance:
The scent starts quite fresh with two olfactory directions: it smells slightly green and then floral with roses. In any case, the opening is more than successful, as the roses smell really wonderful here, though light, yet beautiful. A few minutes later, lily of the valley joins in, and the fragrance becomes a bit sweeter, probably due to the violets.
The roses become somewhat stronger as the scent develops. So, are these English roses? Well, you know I would love to describe this to you in more detail, but you also know that I’m quite hopeless when it comes to flowers :D
At some point in the middle, it smells a bit too much like a floral mix, so that the roses only occasionally rise to the surface for a short time. The green notes, by the way, unfortunately completely fade away, but you can still occasionally catch a very light and fruity peach scent. After a short while, the roses return as the strongest note and smell just as wonderful as at the beginning, as the other floral scents become a bit weaker again. And despite the sweet notes, the fragrance is not really sweet, but rather slightly sweetish.
Oh, and I don’t know if it’s because of my tea that I’m sipping on the side, but now and then the rose also seemed a bit like a tea rose to me, with a very light tea scent in the background…

The sillage and longevity:
The fragrance is a bit weak and will never project strongly. But it doesn’t need to, as this scent is more suitable for personal enjoyment if you really like floral notes, especially roses. Everyone else can just hug the wearer and not let go if they want to experience the scent too… or the lady :D
The longevity is about five to six hours, although it becomes really very weak on the skin after three to four hours.

The bottle:
The bottle has rounded edges at the bottom and rises a bit dome-like at the top, ending with a chrome-plated cap that somewhat resembles a column. The fragrance liquid is pink. There is no label; the inscription is printed directly on the bottle. Not very spectacular overall, but quite okay.

Yes, Evelyn Rose is a beautiful rose fragrance. In the middle of the scent, it does smell a bit too floral for me for a short time, but then the rose crystallizes out again and smells really wonderful.
I must admit that the rose smells slightly different than usual, somehow more lovely. As I mentioned earlier, I’m not very familiar with floral fragrances and am trying my best with this description, so please bear with me!

In any case, it smells like real roses, just as most here have described it, because the scent doesn’t seem artificial to me at all. I must also say that at times the scent seemed slightly soapy to me. I mean this positively, like I perceive them in the Prada fragrances, for example. Soapy, but beautiful, thus quite clean and neat, to be precise.

The fragrance can be worn in spring and summer; in winter, it would dissipate even faster than it already does. And it’s more of a casual scent, as it is far too weak for going out, even if you were to bathe in it.

The best way to enjoy it is with a cool drink, or also tea or coffee, while you enjoy the scent surrounded by beautiful flowers, for example in your own garden, just to unwind and not constantly think about the fact that you "have to do some gardening soon!" :D

Yes, Evelyn Rose is a highly recommendable fragrance, and I would suggest testing it! Especially if you like rose scents.

dark red roses
This perfume smells very strong of deep dark red roses and fully bloomed dark peonies.

Beautifully natural-herb, there is no artificial sweetness contained, along with a few green herbs that further emphasize the naturalness of the rose garden.

All other fragrance notes are only gently present to support, they do not dominate.
Only the little lily of the valley peeks out mischievously from time to time.
The perfume is not a fresh scent, but subtly soapy, strongly rosy, warm, and almost consistently powerful.

Wow, the rose remains so strong for a long time and does not change.
I have to keep sniffing it, could it be addictive??

Thanks to the noble donor!!!

I find the scent sharp, unfortunately not authentic... Good longevity, almost no change in the fragrance. Not good... ;-)
