I initially purchased this because I am collecting Penhaligon's portraits and I heard this is being discontinued. I have not owned any oud fragrances prior to this and boy this is STRONG. I don't know how this compares to other fragrances with similar profile but this is one where people will definitely notice if you are wearing this.

I got this when it started to turn cold here and it grew on me. Still not wearing this to work but I enjoying wearing this at home in cooler weather. The dry down on this is quite pleasant, with the woody base and faint rose scent.

It is one of the better ones in terms of longevity in the Portrait collection. And what's not to love about the majestic eagle bottle. You can probably get a better value rose oud fragrance from other houses but I do enjoy having this in my collection

This is the first fragrance I fell in love with and I still have not smelt anything quite like it yet. Very clean and refreshing opening with fig. Of course it has the "greeness" from Diptyque which they do so well. A very natural, green fragrance. I personally prefer the EDP version over EDT as it has a slight lactonic undertone to it after dry down.

If you are looking for something that is refreshing but not a citrus fragrance, you should give this a go. Great everyday scent.

Discovered this while I was still in my early stages of my fragrance journey. Did not gravitate towards sweet fragrances then and this was SWEET. Never thought this would be something I would like until I tried it on my skin and eventually I fell in love with it. It is just a scent you will keep thinking about.

It opens with a blast of sweetness, you definitely get peach in here but it is very well blended with the white florals so I would not call this a fruity fragrance. The base notes gives it has a smooth and creamy undertone which is perfect for me. That creamy cozy scent lingers after the majority of the sweetness is gone after 5-6 hours. It occasionally gets powdery on my after dry down.
It is a dense fragrance but not necessarily heavy so I can see myself wearing it in summer as well.

As other Nishane fragrances, this has great longevity and lingers on my clothes for a whole day. Personally this is my favourite from the house.

I was searching for a matcha fragrance that opens like matcha meditation by Maison Martin Margiela but does not turn sickly sweet after a few minutes. I tried un été by Obvious and to me they those smell fairly similar but J scent is half the price. The green tea note in Roasted Green tea is much more long lasting than matcha meditation. It still has a milky/creamy, slightly sweet undertone but definitely not as "dense" as matcha meditation.

Sillage is not strong but it definitely lingers on me, I can almost get a whiff of it every now and then through out the whole day.

It is a great matcha fragrance but if you are looking for something purely with green tea note without any sweetness, unfortunately this may not be for you.

I absolutely love this fragrance. Did not know how much I loved tuberose before trying this. Lovely strong floral opening with creamy sandalwood base note. Personally the mandarin orange is almost absent and this fragrance is definitely much more floral than fruity. This fragrance also leans more feminine but really anyone could wear it. A elegant scent, suitable for special occasions. I also find it quite similar to Soleil Blanc from tom Ford but the tuberose is more prominent.

I'm sure I don't need to say more about the design of the portraits from Penhaligon, they are gorgeous. I wish I liked more fragrances from their portrait line but this is the only one I find buy worthy.
