You're not a bad perfume. For an Oriental of this price range, you're perfectly fine. Your fragrance isn't 0-8-15, it's strong and spicy-warm the way I like it, and for a moment you actually smell like the opium version. But unfortunately with your spices a small alcohol note is added and you are not as multi-layered as the original. You remind me a little of the austere cheap scents of the '90s. In addition you do not stick very long to my skin and from the smell you fit rather to an older woman.

I really like your bottle and especially the golden Chinese ornament on the red cap. On the other hand, your cap doesn't really close properly and compared to other perfumes, your appearance looks a bit cheap.

But maybe I shouldn't be so hard on you and compare you to other high end perfumes all the time. As already said, for an Oriental in this price range you are wonderful! And it was a pleasure meeting you.

You may not become one of the holy grails in my perfume collection. I would like to continue to smell you and I am sure that you will make other ladies (e.g. my mum) very happy with your scent!

And I don't agree with the rather negative comments either.

I found this scent on a man wonderful and very seductive. What I particularly liked was that the fragrance did not smell obtrusive and yet masculine and beguiling.

I find many men's fragrances very penetrating and they often trigger the need to open the window quickly to let fresh air in (or to quickly search for space). Also, many of the fragrances smell like '0-8-15-already-male-erochen', nothing special.

Although Luxure was not a high-end product but a drugstore perfume, I was very surprised. For an eau de toilette, the shelf life was fine. I also liked the bottle, kept simple and without big bells and whistles.

Once sprayed on my boyfriend and I stuck to him and couldn't stop sniffing at him. "Go away" was just one of the comments I had to listen to.

I think it's a pity that the production has been stopped and I hope to find a perfume similar to Luxure.

Over a year ago, I ordered a series of scent samples, including the Early Roses by Téo Cabanel. The fragrance pyramid just sounded wonderful and there was nothing in it that would bother me.

It was Friday evening, I was looking forward to the weekend and to testing the scent samples. Before I went to bed, I took the fillings out of my pocket and tested one of them. The first sample that fell out of the envelope was Early Roses.

I sprayed it on my wrist, smelled it and was totally horrified, because I smelled mainly the hot pepper! There were some flowers around but the pepper was very dominant.

I was shocked and horrified by the strong peppery and biting note and thought to myself - no, this is definitely not my scent! - and threw the rest of that scent sample in the trash... (stupid nut). Disappointed by the perfume and exhausted by the week I went to bed and just wanted to sleep.

The next morning I thought to myself - where does this smell come from?!? - this time in a positive sense! I was awakened by a gentle rose fragrance that was so wonderful and irresistible that I couldn't get enough of it. I sniffed my wrist in bed for a while and found that it was the same perfume that I had tested the night before! Overnight the roses and the jasmine on my wrist unfolded completely and I could only see them in the morning. There was hardly any spicy pepper left.

I am still annoyed that I acted too hastily and just threw the sample away and I can't stop thinking about this perfume ever since. I should have just given this wonderful fragrance more time...

That wasn't love at first sight. At first I just wanted to run away. But then I was awakened by him as gently and wonderfully as never before by anyone.

With the next fragrance sample order I'm on it and it's my turn to order Early Roses again and who knows... maybe Téo and I will become something after all! :)
