Nice floral scent. Without corners and edges. Kind and sweet. Becomes more beautiful in the base than at the beginning and ends in a sweet-warm ambered note. I like the scent a bit better than the one from the 1st arrondissement, but I find it quite similar. I cannot perceive green notes, incense and patchouli. The fragrance also has this chemical note, which my nose doesn't like and which I often smell in modern floral scents. But she loses herself in the process and hardly notices me at the end.

Pretty and floral, a pleasing fragrance. Sweet, but not too sweet. No harsh notes, no edges. You don't make a mistake with that, but you don't stand out either. It's a nice scent. But it has a chemical note which I smell in almost all modern flower scents and which my nose does not like.

I have loved the Lehmann violet for many years and have commented on it in 2013 under the Tonis fragrance 37, because at that time this entry did not yet exist. My bottle is running out and I have ordered a new one from Lehmann. The shipment arrived today. And I'm really upset. I was expecting a reformulation because of oakmoss. But not with such a different scent. The new violet is only sweet, flowery and powdery. The liquorice note of violet pastilles can still be sensed in the middle. But that's all there is to it. The unconventional, dark green, strong note, which reminds me of essential oil from the violet leaf and which made up the fragrance, is completely gone. The strong top note is missing. The green bed for the violet has disappeared. I hardly smell the woody base any more, the scent is now sweet and powdery. I only smell sweet flower powder, which also has its quality, but does not suit me very well. Before I smelled violets in green moss in the forest, now only a picked flower in the vase. So sad...
