Was quite surprised..
I saw in a Douglas that MCM has apparently launched a collection with new fragrances. My first grab went straight to "Charmin Pup". I find it very light. At first, I smell a.. "mature" lemon iced tea. Not cloyingly sweet. A hint of a summer evening on the terrace where you indulge in a few drinks with friends. Then I find it develops slightly differently on me. I smell more vetiver than tonka bean, but I can still detect in the last whiff of my nose that there is tonka in it. The scent becomes slightly warmer. And I find that this fragrance is already making me addicted. The sillage is sufficient, and it is even close to the skin after a full day. Very nice. Give it a try and give it a chance. The others in the collection were too heavy and partly too smoky/burnt for me. I find this one well-balanced. Just a great scent for me.

I was so excited...
But that was probably nothing. I let myself be lulled by the reviews a bit. When it comes to peach, I notice nothing, but I just don't smell any peach, rather really what the fragrance pyramid offers. I know that peach is not listed, but well, as I said, I relied on the reviews :') And for me, it also develops into such a terribly synthetic-rotten fruit... What a shame. I was looking forward to a nice body lotion scent, but with this, I’m going to voluntarily take a shower again right away :'(

I Cry from Happiness
Yes, perhaps a bit dramatic, but what I smell here is simply out of this world for me. For some, it's just super simple, but for me, it's exactly the right essence. I believe this fragrance will play in a very high league for a very long time regarding my fragrance collection. I received a sample, unsuspectingly sniffed it today, didn't have high hopes, but WOW! It was love at first sniff. I didn't need to reassure myself or give it time; I KNEW immediately that it would become my new favorite fragrance. I rarely experience something like this.

The fragrance pyramid seems to be kept very simple. I can't actually pick out any of the notes from the pyramid because on my skin it becomes airy-sweet. Yes, like a fine almond note, but in a synthetic, fresh laundry way. But not in a piercing synthetic way, no drifting into the artificial. It's simply creamy, powdery, almondy... a light hint of marzipan. Not too sweet, not too overwhelming. I am speechless and godlessly in love. If it weren't so hard to obtain. Rightfully, for me, a fragrance for which I would sell my mother :D
No, of course never, but so you understand how much this fragrance blows me away. For ME, a tiny little masterpiece.

No Fine Composition
Recently, there was a small table with Swiss Arabian and Lattafa fragrances at Douglas, and in the middle, this beautiful bottle caught my eye. I found it quite alright, and for €27 with a discount down to only €21, you can't go wrong with that. At home, I gave it a bit more time, but after a while, I really couldn't smell it anymore. I don't detect any of the listed fruits; for me, it is pure floral soap, but in a rather overpowering way. My husband also tried it, and after a while, I couldn't smell it anymore :x It lingers forever, especially on clothing, and eventually, it just overwhelms me since it has no twist; it stays exactly the same as when applied. Caramel, vanilla, wood? 0.0% for me there. Just the most basic core soap with a lot of fragrance ingredients slapped on. Well, for €21, it doesn't bother me that much, and the bottle is beautiful to me, so it can stay.

My Scent of Youth
Back then, I lived in a children's home and had a roommate who had a lot of style. When she left for school in the morning, I would sneak into her room and 'borrow' some of her clothes ;). And before I went out, I always treated myself to a few spritzes of "Be Delicious (Eau de Parfum) | DKNY / Donna Karan," which was always on her altar. I always got in huge trouble because for us teenagers, the price of this perfume was already incredibly high :D

I don't love it as much as I did back then; my nose has changed, and I have different preferences now. But I think this perfume paved the way for me to love fresh scents. I still have a large bottle here; I still use it sometimes to refresh my laundry. It smells very simple of sweet apple and fresh cucumber, which doesn't drift too much into synthetic territory. Quality-wise, it's not bad for a drugstore scent. A little all-rounder for occasional use. It gets a few extra points just for the memories.
