The most gorgeous fruity cream scent

A pure baby wipe/lotion scent that dries down to a creamy sandalwood (thankfully I'm a massive fan of babyish smells). Very sweet and fruity in warm weather, which makes the stone fruits and frangipani shine, giving it an almost tropical feel. Wearing it in colder weather allows for the red currant to break through- it's juicy, tart, and just sour enough to give the creamy sweetness an edge. Very pleasant and smooth, an elevated fruity floral with some depth.

Lovely peach floral

Cassili is such fun, fruity and peachy floral yet it has some sophistication as well. It’s perfect for days when you would want to escape to a tropical paradise. The longevity is moderate as well as the sillage, so it’s perfect to wear in the office. Cassili is one of my favourites from Parfums de Marly’s women’s collection and would repurchase any time.

Spring delight

This is a bright fruity floral but still quite warm and powdery fragrance. I've noticed I only like it in those kind of fall and early spring days when the air is very crisp but the sun is out, when you need a wool coat and sunglasses. In warmer sping or summer days it feels stuffy, and in the winter the bright fruitiness feels out of place for me. I wish they had it it a 30 ml format, because I don't think I would get through the big bottle.

Generically good fruity fragrance

I really loved it at first. In fact I loved it so much I used 50% of my 75ml bottle. But that was when I was a perfume virgin and just googling scents which people recommend. Once I got more into the niche market and started sampling scents with more complexity I realized how basic this fragrance is, almost to the point where it feels childish wearing it. In fact its so basic that the Dua Brand did an exact dupe where its near impossible to tell the difference.

Thats not to say its a bad fragrance. It does smell lovely. I do not smell and sandal wood or red currant or plum. I mainly smell a creamy peach and pineapple pina colada minus the rum. Doesn't smell synthetic in the slightest. Very fresh and sweet scent typical of parfum de marly and other french perfume houses.

I would recommend it as a good starter perfume for fragrance newbies but other than that....meh

You sip from a crystal flute of nectar...

You sip from a crystal flute of nectar during breakfast on a crisp Sunday morning. On the cafe table is a small, but thoughtfully arranged, vase of fresh blossoms. You're seated on the patio and there's a slight breeze, but you don't mind because it's beautiful outside. Paved cobblestone paths curve through a charming village, lined with assorted flower bushes and greenery. The sun is still low in the sky, and pale beams of light cast soft angled shadows on the stones. The sweetness of the nectar melts into your tongue and fills you with energy as you ponder your plans for the day.

When wet on skin, this is definitely reminiscent of fruit juice: tart, but not bright, and incredibly sweet. Underlying that is a feminine powdery smell. Upon drydown, the juiciness fades, and you're left with a softer fruit scent, like sweet-smelling plum skin, gently layered on top of powdery wood and quiet flowers. Maybe there's just a slight brush of honey too.
