Sauvage in cheap and less cutting. Some people talk about Aventus or even Baccarat Rouge 540, but I don't perceive that, nor the pineapple that some people talk about. Sweetish at first, becoming "bluer" later, but the Sauvage DNA is somehow always there. A certain fruitiness at the beginning yes, then later more sauvage...

You can do it, I don't think there's any reason to buy the more expensive Sauvage anymore, although it has to be said that Sauvage is a touch stronger, but not by much.

I expected more for the price. There are various imitators that do it almost as well. I'm a little disappointed with the durability and sillage, you have to apply it thickly so that you can smell it from a little further away, but at this price, who would do that?

Aventus certainly has a certain metallic-spicy depth, not at all a ripe pineapple like previous batches of imitators. That was actually the main reason I had the tester sent to me.

Spicy vanilla, slightly metallic with depth, that's how I would describe it. But to get the depth, it would have to be romantic. From a meter away, no chance, unless you apply a thick layer. But for 250 euros for 100ml, wow. So I wouldn't buy a big bottle of it. I would say the price-performance ratio is catastrophic. Yes, it's the original, yes it has depth, but otherwise? For 50 euros, you can get perfumes that are very close to it and that are sometimes more radiant. I can't imagine that anyone can smell a big difference from 1-2 meters away.

It was recommended to me as a pineapple explosion. But there is no pineapple in it. The opening is powdery, then a sweet rose emerges and then it flattens out to a little bitter and metallic. That's it. I don't know what's wrong with people, if they've never smelled the ripe pineapple like in the old batches of Club de Nuit IM (by now, their pineapple is almost gone, even in the Pure Perfume version from 2024). There is indeed a certain proximity to Khamrah.

I'll probably use this fragrance here at this price as a toilet sprayroom fragrance. The only advantage is the price, but I wouldn't seriously wear it. It's also a women's fragrance, I thought I could pimp up the layering with the now weak CDNim Batch from 2024, so to speak, but I'm even doing the watery lemon scent of CDN a bit of an injustice. This fragrance here, yes, a touch better than RaveNow and QAED AL FURSAN respectively (both pretty much the same and also more orange than pineapple and both weak, fortunately because it's not pineapple anyway and also smells strangely soapy). So my search for the real pineapple must continue.

It has absolutely nothing to do with pineapple, just as little as the so-called "pineapple bomb" from the same company, "Rave Now". I don't smell pineapple, it's a soapy, weak and not exactly appealing orange or indefinable fruit. Permanently flat and getting flatter and flatter. Sillage and projection are on the lower end. And that's a good thing, I don't want to smell this fragrance on me for long.

I don't know why everyone is saying this is the new CDNim or somehow in the Aventus range. It couldn't be more distant. I only ordered it because it was cheap, but accordingly I had low expectations. These were even undercut. I'm sorry, but this fragrance is only suitable to make the toilet smell better, that's it. And it doesn't have the necessary power for that. Not a bomb at all, not even for the worse! The reviewers in the socials should perhaps not always raise such false hopes.

My CdNIN Pure Perfume from 2023 came to an end, my signature fragrance, and it is certainly not without reason. I could sing its praises now and tell you about the compliments I've already received. But hey, no problem I thought, it doesn't cost the earth like Aventus Creed. When the order arrived and I applied it, I was shocked. Where is the pineapple? Did I have the sniffles? Had it been badly stored during the summer? In desperation, I sent it back due to quality defects. I ordered it again from somewhere else. Same effect, it smells like a Euro pallet from a forklift truck, pungently woody, flatly fruity and after an hour you can't smell anything unless you press your nose into your arm. You can imagine pineapple with a lot of imagination. But all in all, just a shadow of its former self, light years away from the 2023 batch.

I am now in despair. The pineapple pop effect that brings compliments is now gone and probably won't come back? And by that I mean the slightly rotten pineapple, yes it sounds bad at first, but it has a certain kick. But what should I do? I can't send 10 bottles back and forth and hope that there will be one with pineapple in it! All in all, it smells pretty weak anyway, even my standard roll-on deodorant (which is rather neutral) almost covers it up. My research on the internet has also shown that this "zero finger effect" is not a figment of my imagination. This lack of quality is also criticized on various platforms. Jonas, this is the Pure Parfum? What does the EdT smell like? Like dishwater?

So the brand is unfortunately dead for me. A last attempt to layer it with "Rave Now" also failed (unfortunately, the Rave itself is already kind of flat and smells more like artificial orange than pineapple). So who stole the coconut? I don't care, but the pineapple has to come back! I'm now thinking about buying the fragrance from Montagne or Qaed Al Fursan (there's not much hope, it's another cheapie from Lattafa like Rave Now).

So I'm downgrading the fragrance from a 9 to a 6 and that's flattering and only because of the "old days"...
