Did you steal my Jil Sander?!
The long discontinued, but much appreciated Jil Sander Woman III... For the very special occasions my mother has left for 5 years still 10ml in the bottle. In my lifetime, I wouldn't think of even touching the bottle. I can understand her concern though - is it the moss, patchouli, myrrh, laurel, orange...? The similar scents actually briefly remind me of Jil Sander, even if Jubilation comes across as much more masculine. He goes, however, in the same direction.
Jubilation XXV smells directly at the spray head after "old granny" (quote sister, geriatric nurse, must know). Nevertheless, he became one of my favorite fragrances from one day to the next. It is definitely oriental-woody, but brings a tremendous lightness. It's not as heavy and dark as, say, an Interlude or an Au Coeur du Désert. On the skin and in the sillage, it is then no longer granny-heavy at all, so do not worry.
Otherwise, it should be emphasized that the combination of blackberry, frankincense and myrrh must be an absolute highlight for every fragrance lover.
The Amouage fragrance is by and large "generally acceptable", without even slipping into the mainstream. Compliments are sure. The fragrance radiates masculinity, steadfastness, self-confidence and strength of character, without seeming unsympathetic. Due to its almost majestic appearance, it is absolutely not suitable for the youthful audience, that would just seem silly. I think so from 25/30 is showtime.
H/S are such a thing in themselves in this case. Although one does not perceive him himself steadily, he is nevertheless present for others. The nose close positioned one has 24h still something of it. In the first hours Jubilation XXV can easily fill the room - everyone who enters the room first asks what smells so good here. For this, 2 generous sprays are enough. With a favorable draft, it is still well recognizable after 8 hours.
At the same time, it is absolutely not intrusive, in my opinion, it is also well suited as an office fragrance and in any case as a signature fragrance.
Jubilation can be wonderfully layered with Molecule 01, thereby one perceives him even more clearly.
By the fact that the fragrance is not so heavy and is also absolutely restrained with the sweetness, you could wear it in my opinion without hesitation throughout the year, but maybe not just at 35 degrees in the sun, there's better. So attention: who is looking for a fresh summer fragrance, is guaranteed not happy with Jubilation XXV.
It is definitely too expensive. It is also not worth looking around for equal alternatives - the magic of Jubilation there is no second time. Maybe that justifies the price then after all.
Little secret at the end: since I found out that you can perceive the fragrance itself well, in which you step back a step while walking forward, I do it regularly. Luckily, no one has seen this yet. Imagine if the one knew the reason for the behavior :D
