No Love
So far, I couldn't find any love in the repertoire of Jo Malone.

Maybe that will change now.
But let's start from the beginning:

The opening is surprisingly fruity: A ripe, juicy apricot (not artificial or too sweet) provides a lively freshness, complemented by a noble note of cardamom. This combination gives the fragrance a wonderfully spicy character that never comes across as intrusive, but radiates a fine, piquant warmth.
The apricot merges with a deep, sweet base of high-quality vanilla.
What particularly distinguishes this fragrance is its texture: It feels incredibly creamy and drapes over the skin like a soft cashmere scarf.
The sandalwood adds a solid, woody depth that gives the fragrance structure and perfectly balances the sweetness. Those looking for an elegant companion that possesses both depth and a gentle snugness will find it here. For lovers of warm, woody-cream compositions.

Is it love? No, but I'm a bit smitten. hihi

Give it a try.

Always is now…
… in the eternity, in which one lingers between two flights, the most beautiful thing is when you get to test fragrances.

This way, I was able to sniff through the current repertoire of L’Artisan Parfumeur.

The three listed fragrance notes attracted me, and I fell in love with the top notes. A woody, soft, yet sparkling fresh undertone. Wow.

I sprayed it on my skin and headed to boarding. Time and again, a new nuance of the fragrance wafted up to my nose. First something sweet, reminiscent of berries. Then something floral, which I also couldn’t identify exactly.
As the plane took off, I smelled toffee, tea, and light leather. It relaxed me deeply. I knew this fragrance was special with its development.

Upon landing, I was determined I wanted to spend more time with this fragrance.

Unfortunately, this fragrance is only available in two French airports, and so I live in my remembered eternity of this scent and look forward to the next flight.

Try it, a profound yet dynamic fragrance. Unisex.

It is an art…
I am very pleased with this fragrance. I stumbled upon Orange & Bergamot by chance, and until then, I had no idea that I had missed this powdery, slightly creamy orange scent.

The top note starts off somewhat overwhelming with bergamot and orange. In combination with the petitgrain, a sour lemon note develops, which can be a bit too much for a brief moment.

This intense citrus quickly transforms into a truly beautiful scent of ylang-ylang, rose, and sandalwood. Neroli and vetiver take over, leaving a powdery, well-groomed fresh scent with above-average longevity.

There is orange with vanilla, there is orange with woody cedar, but it is an art to create a powdery, long-lasting orange.

My husband loves floral scents, my daughter loves vanilla scents, and I am an iris lover. My daughter says every time, what smells so good here when I wear it. My husband says he really likes it, and I feel wonderfully dressed with this fragrance; fresh and elegant. A great daytime scent.

Try it out.

Green Tuberose, a Delicate Beauty
A warm summer evening.
An elegant woman in a flowing silk dress, surrounded by a gentle light that makes her skin appear like ivory. Behind her, a garden bathed in the light of the setting sun - tuberoses slowly open, their sweet, creamy heaviness hangs in the air. Delicate orange blossoms scatter a fresh, almost sunny glow over the scene, while iris brings a powdery, almost cool contrast.

Camphor provides the green undertone for this fragrance, adding a touch of modernity to this kitschy image.

Pink pepper floats like an invisible, sparkling veil over everything - subtle, yet with a certain energy that makes everything feel more alive. The composition feels balanced, Nordic and delicate, yet mysterious - as if something is about to begin.

Even tuberose refusers (like me, for example) will perceive and appreciate the delicate beauty of this fragrance.

This scent stays with me; I need it in those moments when I forget how beautiful and unpredictable life is.

Ocean Eyes
What an extraordinary aquatic molecular fragrance.

Modern, delicate, yet opulent and playful. The combination of water jasmine, melon, and iris was already a poetic and bold mix in my imagination. The cashmere wood, pink pepper, and vetiver give it a green, slightly tart, and woody undertone. It feels as if heaven, sea, and forest converge in this creation or as if one were lost in the deepest blue eyes of this world.

This scent is probably more of a spring or summer fragrance, but for me, it's wearable all year round. It is truly a noble, fresh, floral aquate and lasts well. For me, it's unisex, although it is marketed as a women's fragrance.

And with this perfume, the bottle is noteworthy for me (which I usually never mention). It is an elegant companion for this scent - blue, white, rose, and gold, satin glass with a rectangular relief, wooden cap, good spray head - it appeals to me very much.

So, put on Billie Eilish's Ocean Eyes, test it, and dream yourself to tropical places…
