Dirty snow in springtime
(Disclaimer that I'm not Scandinavian or Icelandic so while the cultural homage is beautiful, I can't speak on it)
I agree with the reviewer below me wrt licorice--the opening very quickly put licorice candy into mind but it's definitely the chervil note. While I haven't smelled real chervil before, it is in the parsley family and adds to the herbaceous opening. I like that it's more of a dirty-fresh scent rather than clean-aldehydic-fresh on opening. Drydown is sweeter, the currant peeks out! Definitely gets musky/sweet at the end. Beautiful journey, beginning-middle definitely is dirty snow vibes (not sure if I remember dirty snow smell correctly tbh).
Note the website mentions a cigarette butt accord: I can smell it after thinking about cigarette butts but the perfume wouldn't evoke it on its own. Just mentioning for those who are hesitant after seeing the site.

Not green or blue smelling
I get more candy than lemon, and you have to squint for the candy. In my opinion the "rain" note in this isn't super fresh, it's very humid/warm. I disagree with the "green" in the notes also... Overall the perfume gives a powdery impression especially on drydown and does not come across as green/aquatic to me at all.
The opening is extremely harsh (idk if i got a dud/old batch?) but it's an overwhelmingly acrid burnt rubber smell (smell kind of burned my nose). Not sure if it's just my sample though, lmk if you also get this...

Rare gem: fruity but not cloying/jammy
Super photorealistic grapefruit opening. I very pleasantly surprised at how long the grapefruit lasts! I don't think I've ever had such a complete citrus (oil from the peel, bitterness from the pith, tang from the flesh) or a citrus last so long. Personally I'm very sensitive to sweetness in scents and this is absolutely not cloying.
It dries down to a nice fizzy aquatic musk (I hesitate to use the word musk because while the scent softens, it's still rather light and lacks the depth the word 'musk' evokes ykwim), and there is a hint of melon (cantaloupe/cucumbery imo, def not watermelon like in the picture) but it's rather faint and refreshing.
Sillage and longevity are both superb for such a fresh, clean aquatic. For me, full bottle worthy.

Hi-chew
Does anyone else get a milky/powdery + fruity hi-chew smell, especially in the opening? I get a big whiff of mango hi-chew. Leans a bit too sweet for me (just short of cloying, but I am more sensitive to this than most, it seems) and the fruit comes off as synthetic rather than refreshing. Agree with previous reviewers that it's very short-lived.
Ambroxan in disguise
To me, it doesn't smell like tea unless you squint (fwiw I'm Asian and more used to eastern-style teas). I agree with the appley opening. While it's a nice scent, it's a bit sweet and resiny for me and just wasn't what I was expecting. I get heavy ambroxan from this, especially on the drydown. May as well get molecule02 lol.
