The fragrance starts with a sharp floral smell that holds for less than an hour then settles down to a very nice scent that share a lit of similarities with Oud Touch by Franck Olivier. Comparing it to Oud Touch from Franck Olivier though is tough though since the latter is significantly better and both are comparable in price. I believe I read some where that this fragrance ( Rihanah’s Ispahad Oud) is discontinued and after trying it, I can speculate whether this is true and why.

This is a leather/ oud fragrance. Immediately upon spraying you get a mix of notes that settle down within a few minutes into a leather oudy note that is there to easily last for hours. It has a powerful sillage as well. Sprayed it before going to work for a 9 hours shift, and after I returned home I could still smell it strongly in my room. If you are not DEEPLY into oud or leather, steer clear from that one, for this is certainly for hardcore oud/ leather folks. While it is not exactly what I was looking for, I certainly don’t regret buying it. Thumbs up here.
