…which means it’s perfect for me, as an appreciator of vanillas that don’t all do the same thing. the first impression i got from this was a woody vanilla with an almost fuzzy skin-scent note, then it settled into something more grounded with the ambroxan and pink pepper to hold it close to the skin. i love this as a casual, day-to-day scent personally.

definitely a youthful scent, but one that would easily work on anyone drawn to its scent profile. i used to have many floral-fruity perfumes along these lines, and it’s fun discovering one in that spirit. rose and strawberry are the first notes, along with a fresh, almost but not quite aquatic green note. the strawberry softens on the dry down to reveal a lovely soft rose.

had a big rose phase a while back and discovered this fragrance then. it’s stuck around even though my tastes have changed! patchouli dirties up the rose note in a way that’s very pleasing to my nose. the vanilla it dries down to is a nice deep vanilla — not too sweet. definitely one for when you need a confidence boost.

had to buy a bottle now to see if it held up. and sure enough, upon smelling it i was taken right back to summer trips to the pool, the mall, the beach, and smelling good the entire time. opens up with a burst of tropical and citrus fruits, then lets the florals take center stage for a little bit, complemented by coconut and passionfruit. upon the dry down, i get some of the blond woods described in the notes. really fun summer wear!

i looove a summery event, especially one that has an oceanic note. i also love white florals, so this was high on my wishlist. it opens up with a bright burst of orange blossom, garnished with jasmine and perhaps gardenia. as soon as it begins to dry, a solar note enters, brightening up the scent as it continues to mellow out into a salty vanilla that smells fantastic on the skin.
