Soft & persistent

I love Lattafa scents, but I never trust a what comes out of a new bottle. I actually have a formula: spray 5 times, put it away & forget it for a week or two (sometimes a month), then come back & enjoy.

This one is a little sneaky because it smells good right away. I immediately got vanilla & jasmine & something else nice (but new for me) - maybe that Mystikal??? It was good but the longevity was weak. So I did my little rest & wait trick. 2 weeks later, I had magic. I get coconut (like those little shavings for baking) from somewhere (?) and sweetness that is almost tropical. I am wondering if it's that Mystikal messing with me so playfully.

I like this mainly because as soft as it is, it's persistent and hangs with me all day. I totally get the Blanche Bête comparisons but, for me, it's similar to BB - and better - but not a twin. If I could afford to by BB every day, I would still get HC instead. It's just better, IMO.

A sweet creamy dream

This is a lovely fragrance. It is very well blended and easy to wear year round, day or night. Growing up, a sweet treat was to mix fluffy white rice with milk and sugar. Her Confession is what I imagine a perfume inspired that dish to smell like. Although not listed, there is also a very subtle coconut note that I pick up on, but this is in the background of a sweet, creamy, and slightly floral bouquet. I find it to be very calming and peaceful.

"Clean girl" vanilla floral

Did I mostly buy this for the bottle? Yes. But the scent is nice. It's a soft, powdery, lightly creamy vanilla floral. I would compare the vanilla in this to Bath & Body Works Snowflakes & Cashmere, soft and only semi-sweet. It doesn't read particularly gourmand to my nose. The jasmine and tuberose, which dominate this fragrance on me, are somewhat powdery and not at all indolic. Very approachable. There's definitely "clean girl" DNA at the center of this. Nothing about this scent is groundbreaking, but between the price and the beautiful bottle, I don't regret blind buying.

Traum Vanille Duft

Der ist sehr empfehlenswert. Auch gut zum Leiern. Z.b mit Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Tonka. Das Ergebnis ist mega. Hab ihn mir Blind bestellt. Hab nur die Duftnoten und die Rezession gelesen. Hab es nicht bereut. Mein 16 Jahriger Sohn ist auch begeistert von diesem Duft. Und Preis Leistung kann man auch nicht meckern.

Nice alternative to beet

We continue with Lattafa. Here with Her Confession, for which there is also a male counterpart with His Confession. Visually, the bottles look a little like a sequel to the Eclaire. Artistically really beautifully done and the two fragrances are once again convincing like so much of this brand. This range is now so extensive that there is an alternative for almost every important fragrance. The model here is clearly Blanche Bête, which I bought at the end of last year and know and love very well. An absolutely clean fragrance with a milky-creamy note and a light coconut vibe. Definitely exotic. People who also know this fragrance know that it is special and stands out from the crowd. However, this niche fragrance is anything but cheap, even if it does justice to the quality and there is sometimes an acceptable offer. Here is a very, very good alternative from Lattafa.

The bottle is really pretty, the lid is a little too big for me. As with the Lattafa Sehr, I don't like these voluminous lids. Otherwise, it is artistically well made and stands out from the designer fragrances. Not quite as cheap as other Lattafa's in terms of price, but that usually benefits the fragrance with this brand.
Does it come close to the Blanche Bête? The top note definitely. There are hardly any differences in the air. This exotic, creamy, milky note is also really successful here. Not surprising, since this pyramid is very similar with summery tuberose, mahonial, mystical, jasmine, vanilla & tonka bean. In Blanche Bete it is a little more exotic and rounded, but only minimally. This dupe is totally worth it, and not just because of the price difference. The fragrance smells much more expensive and the price difference is not so noticeable. This milky-creamy note with these exotic notes and this radiantly clean musk is wonderful and suits this clean summer look. Like Blanche Bete, this one tends more towards the feminine, but is not unwearable as a modern gentleman and looks even more special. Overall, this DNA is already very feel-good.
In terms of performance, this Lattafa naturally runs out of steam much earlier. The original is really Beastmode and will certainly be noticed by everyone in the vicinity for many hours. Nevertheless, this one is very solid with a strong sillage in the top note. It also lasts for a minimum of 8 hours. Worth it, even as an everyday fragrance.

Lattafa has once again come up with a really good dupe. A totally great fragrance, especially if you don't want to pay the price of the original.
