We continue with Lattafa. Here with Her Confession, for which there is also a male counterpart with
His Confession. Visually, the bottles look a little like a sequel to the
Eclaire. Artistically really beautifully done and the two fragrances are once again convincing like so much of this brand. This range is now so extensive that there is an alternative for almost every important fragrance. The model here is clearly
Blanche Bête, which I bought at the end of last year and know and love very well. An absolutely clean fragrance with a milky-creamy note and a light coconut vibe. Definitely exotic. People who also know this fragrance know that it is special and stands out from the crowd. However, this niche fragrance is anything but cheap, even if it does justice to the quality and there is sometimes an acceptable offer. Here is a very, very good alternative from Lattafa.
The bottle is really pretty, the lid is a little too big for me. As with the Lattafa Sehr, I don't like these voluminous lids. Otherwise, it is artistically well made and stands out from the designer fragrances. Not quite as cheap as other Lattafa's in terms of price, but that usually benefits the fragrance with this brand.
Does it come close to the
Blanche Bête? The top note definitely. There are hardly any differences in the air. This exotic, creamy, milky note is also really successful here. Not surprising, since this pyramid is very similar with summery tuberose, mahonial, mystical, jasmine, vanilla & tonka bean. In Blanche Bete it is a little more exotic and rounded, but only minimally. This dupe is totally worth it, and not just because of the price difference. The fragrance smells much more expensive and the price difference is not so noticeable. This milky-creamy note with these exotic notes and this radiantly clean musk is wonderful and suits this clean summer look. Like Blanche Bete, this one tends more towards the feminine, but is not unwearable as a modern gentleman and looks even more special. Overall, this DNA is already very feel-good.
In terms of performance, this Lattafa naturally runs out of steam much earlier. The original is really Beastmode and will certainly be noticed by everyone in the vicinity for many hours. Nevertheless, this one is very solid with a strong sillage in the top note. It also lasts for a minimum of 8 hours. Worth it, even as an everyday fragrance.
Lattafa has once again come up with a really good dupe. A totally great fragrance, especially if you don't want to pay the price of the original.
