Synthetic but smooth and clean Ganymede clone
This is a nice fragrance that clones Ganymede by Marc-Antoine Barrios. To my nose it is primarily dominated by the mineral and leather notes. I get a very little bit of florality but the Ozmanthus note and the immortal note don't combine with the rest of it to create as much of that sort of spicy note that you get in the original Ganymede.

Overall, I would say that this is a little bit more synthetic, but also cleaner than the original Ganymede; at least to my nose and tastes. That is not to say the synthetic notes are bad. I find them quite nice actually.

My best blind buy ever
This is a perfect warm, cozy, masculine, spicy tobacco. I've been wearing it frequently through this fall and winter. I almost don't want summer to come.

The silage it good but not aggressive. On my skin it easily lasts the work day, but not too much past that. This is not a beast mode scent. More like a hug from your dad.

It's not all natural but doesn't come across as synthetic, at least to me as someone who can't stand the currently popular woody ambers or certain popular harsh musks. I've received compliments on this from friends and co-workers who get headaches from a lot of fragrances.

I can't recommend this one enough for anyone millennial aged or older. I can see maybe see it working for older gen-z who want a sophisticated but affordable scent.

Synthetic aerosol woody amber
I read reviews saying the geranium note in this reminded people of a high-class smoother version of vintage masculine geranium. Sounds perfect. That aspect is there but it smells like they diluted it with 1980s aerosol hairspray rather than alcohol. That is the dominant note by a wide margin.

I made the mistake of testing it on my arm, then putting my coat on when I left the store. A week later I still smell that 1980s hairspray every time I take my coat off.

If you have a beloved relative who overused hairspray in the 1980s-1990s, this will be a nostalgic, headachy trip down memory lane.

Very harsh and synthetic
The initial scent is an overwhelming blast of store-brand aerosol hairspray from the late 1980s. The kind that used to make the family dog run from the room when someone picked up the bottle. That note persists throughout, but becomes slightly more bearable after several hours.

I put one spray on my inner elbow to try this during an evening at home. The first hour was headache inducing. I'm not sure why, but I resisted washing it off. By noon the next day it had calmed down a lot and started to show some of the woody and spicy notes I expected. These would have been nice on their own, but were still mixed with that noxious hairspray smell.

I had to give this cheapie a value for money rating of "Too Expensive" because, in my opinion, it wouldn't be good value even if it were free.

The high scores I awarded it in Sillage and Longevity are condemnation, not praise.
