Fresh n' Sweet
I don't know why this perfume is rated so low, it's quite delicious. The immediate spray gives off a sweet apple scent like a Pink Lady or a Honeycrisp, then slowly fades into more of a lighter, woody Fuji apple.

Originally I was worried about the "sugared woods" note being too strong, but the balance in this fragrance is perfect in my opinion. Genuinely such a perfect scent for fall, and I hope more people give it a try.

Disappointing
Initial spray is pure greens and citrus, enough to give you a headache. Then dries down to a spicy, zesty mixture, and finally fades into a warm, woody patchouli.

I don't know how this is marketed as a sweet gourmand perfume, as I am getting no sweetness from this. It's just very...green. Definitely prefer the original Black Opium.

Beachy Sweetness
So light and beachy. I'm usually very picky about coconut since it's my favorite scent, and this surprising passes! There's a gentle sweetness underneath it too, almost like vanilla but not quite.

This could definitely be layered with Nest Balinese Coconut if you wanted to make it a little sweeter, and it would pair with the frangipani pretty good.

Nostalgically Delicious
I'm rewriting my review for this because it deserves a real one. This is definitely sweet, but not sickeningly so. There's a synthetic touch to it as well, keeping that sugary, creaminess tamped down a bit. I know it may sound strange, but this scent honestly reminds me of smelling those little scratch & sniff air freshener cans at Dollar Tree, in the best way.

It's so addicting, but definitely not nutty like the EOS Creme de Pistachio lotion people try to layer this with.

30+ years of use
I inherited a 30 year old bottle of this patchouly musk from my mother, and it still smells amazing. I wouldn't be able to tell you what the new ones smell like, but I'm sure it's similar.

This is extremely strong however, so you can only use a few drops. You've got to have a delicate touch unless you want to give people headaches.
