marzipan dream
I love this as a bed scent. It's so sweet and sugary, that perfect marzipan, almond extract scent I've been wanting to get my hands on for so long. It dries down a little powdery, which I'm not normally a fan of! But ultimately I can't stop wearing it. I think this would be so lovely in the winter, really give some of that chilled soft serve vibe that I had wanted so so badly from Kayali's Yum Pistachio Gelato. To me, that one is more floral than anything else and I wish it read more like this!
However, this is very synthetic! Not alcoholic or plasticky thankfully, but not a photorealistic gourmand for those who are searching for that. I personally don't mind it as I love the smell of almond extract, but if you're sensitive to that kind of thing, I could definitely see this not being for you. As much as this makes me crave a pignoli cookie, this could easily give someone else a headache. I also tend to be really sensitive to patchouli, and I don't detect any of it in here if that were a concern for anyone else!
