Fuzzy paws in your matcha tea
A freshly bright, earthy, and aromatic take on a matcha scent that turns into a much softer, sweeter, and warmer scent as it fully dries down. Zingy and bright tea with green notes in the opening with a clean touch from the lily of the valley and a dry earthy matcha. Dry down is where it becomes a lot warmer, fuzzier, muskier, like your cat has dipped their paws into your cup of matcha tea. There’s a softness here that mimics the haze of warm steam off a matcha latte, but it doesn’t smell too much like it, very much fantasy accords at play here. This one is playful but zen.
Inky and green
A leathery and masculine composition with deeply rich ink and bitter citrus. You get the idea of dry woodiness made up with a walnut note and and green notes that add a crisp and almost biting freshness here. This brand does fresh in such a sharp way, like cold ice tips on a pine tree, it’s cool and refreshing to see in a perfume composition/smell. Dry down is a bit more tame with dusty patchouli rounded up in earthiness and subtle cedar, remnants of the rich inky pen across its surface.
Flowers but make them frozen
Opens with a bitter citrus medley with a prominent lemon grass that adds a bit of a sharp tanginess here that leads way into a crisp and chilly rendition of florals. Like a flower bouquet frozen in time, in a block of ice, caught in a snow storm or sharp blizzard. The dry down is a great contrast in temperature as it’s much warmer, muskier, still green in a dry way and subtly floral. A cool (literally) take on a green floral.
orchid paper with dark ink
powdery and softly sweet orchid scented paper with richly dark ink spilled across its pages. There's a strong dry smokiness coming from the coffee note here that becomes stronger in the dry down and offers a woody roasty feel. This is a really approachable take on ink as a main note in a dark academia sort of way with a nice powdery feel all throughout.
Herbal honey tea
An extremely herbal, earthy, and honeyed tea scent. A bright chamomile note with a spiced herbal quality to it coming from the supporting chrysanthemum note is followed by a warm cup of honeyed white tea. The dry down is warm and dry, still heavily aromatic and tea forward, with rich honey and subtle spice. For the lovers of truly rich tea scents that smell like the real thing. A love for some time, but definitely a bit too herbal after owning a bottle for some time.
