Not Just a Scent, An Experience
This perfume is inspired by the beloved Thai dessert “ขนมชั้น (Khanom Chan)”. The dessert is made by layering various colored and flavored jellies or custards made from coconut milk, rice flour, Mung Bean powder, sugar, pandan leaf, jasmine water, or nom maew. The layers can be seen as symbolizing different heavenly or celestial realms within the Buddhist belief system. This fragrance brings you on a journey of decadence, joy, and possibly enlightenment. This is a gourmand that is unfamiliar to me but was so inviting. My initial thought is green bananas mixed with a blend of glutenous and roasted rice, drenched in coconut milk, and accompanied with indolic white florals. Its being on vacation in the hot tropics, trying out the local's favorite desert while chilling in your hammock. Its sweet enough to call it desert but not so sweet that you feel guilty for ordering another, there is something nutty in there that tempers the sweetness. Its being cozy in the jungle. The cool part is that the coconut note doesn't lean toward sunscreen or shampoo. Its a coconut that stands on its own. Because of this fragrance, I can't wait to try this dessert.
This fragrance has really good projection. People around you will think you are delectable. It also lasted on my skin for about 6 hours. There is one size available, 30ml for $90. This is a one of a kind fragrance and that is a reasonable price for something so good. I intend to get a full bottle some day.
