Lovely garden in Osaka, Japan

Yu Garden was first conceived in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty by Pan Yunduan as a comfort for his father, the minister Pan En, in his old age. Pan Yunduan began the project after failing one of the imperial exams, but his appointment as governor of Sichuan postponed construction for nearly twenty years until 1577. The garden was the largest and most prestigious of its era in Shanghai, but eventually its expense helped ruin the Pans.

Did you happen to read that report a while back on a study of our feline friends' hunting behavior in the U.K.? They attached little video cameras to see how much hunting kitties do. The researchers concluded that many are serial killers!!!!

I saw a piece like Dlane described on 60 Minutes or something. They live for the chase!

The other day my tuxedo girl very skillfully trapped a fly on the floor, and when I came along and grabbed it away from her with a paper towel, Oh my god, if looks could kill! It was a mixture of disbelief and anger! (And I'm pretty sure she called me the B word.) For about 5 seconds. Then she was on to the next game.
