Ability to add perfumes from the banned Paris Corner brand 6

I know that Parfumo has a list of banned companies and Paris Corner is one of them. However, it seems to me that this brand has perfumes whose presence in the database would be something good and useful for the community. I know that Paris Corner at one time had a lot of 1:1 copies. For this moment most of the new ones, of course, are inspired - but there are many such perfumes in the database - however they have original flacons or slightly different notes.

One such perfume is Marshmallow Blush. It is often compared to Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow however the Paris Corner fragrance notes are not the same.

The other is the Ophidian Mango Bliss, popular among online influencers, which has the same notes as God of Fire by Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777, but the flacon itself does not relate to the original in any way. After all, the same approach is used by Lattafa, which is in the database.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to allow the adding of some perfumes from this brand, ones that are not a typical copy?

I totally agree!!

Though most of their perfumes are dupes, I also think it would be nice to add some of them.

I also agree. I understand why they wouldn’t want these copycat brands added, but I think it could boost the popularity of Parfumo and create a more robust database. The smells like section is helpful for finding perfumes that are in the same vein as others you may like, and it seems like a lot more brands are putting their own unique twist on every scent.

I agree wholeheartedly!

Parfumo.com mods need to understand that whether they like it or not, people wear fragrance dupes and this is a fragrance website.

People like to get good deals on fragrances and all dupes are a fraction of the inflated prices of the original fragrances. It's a fact of life. They need to get over themselves and stop gatekeeping fragrances.

@LinkinBart
I'd asked this same question a while back (linked the forum post where I asked). I saw somewhere in another forum post that someone guessed it might have to do with German copyright law, since Parfumo is based in Germany.

But I also saw that No 76 Spicy Amber Vanilla Eau de Parfum was recently added, which Miim.Miic states on their website is an imitation of Black Opium Eau de Parfum . I'd tried to submit this fragrance a couple years ago, but it was rejected - yet this same fragrance was just added this week. So with Miim.Miic being now added as a brand, maybe Paris Corner could be added now too?

I just made a separate post to ask for clarification, hopefully we will be able to hear back!
