"Clemency" is an abstract and enstranging church with a cold superiority and then there are of course lots of inscense based scents e.g."Messe de Minuit" which is a sweet contrast to Clemency

I think the most authentic church scents out of the Comme de Garcons series are Avignon and Zagorsk.
I also like Kyoto very much, which has a slight asian vibe. I've tried other incense scents, that didn't convince me that much.

+1 for "Messe de Minuit" --- soo reminds me of a mass at a catolic church!

Scent of Temple 0
Hi,
I have the most strongly connected to temple with Caron Parfum Sacre. Smile

I've actually been accused of smelling like a church service when I wore Annick Goutal's "Myrrhe Ardente", though the beeswax smell lightens it a bit. Their "Encens Flamboyant" goes in a similar if somewhat drier direction.

For church incense, definitely "Donna Karan Essence: Labdanum"

If you are looking for a catholic vibe you should definitely give "Series 3 Incense: Avignon" a try. The thing is: with that glorious, deep and smokey incense you also get a strong vibe of cold brick walls, it actually smells like an old building. Pretty special, pretty cool.

Here are a bunch... 0
There are lots more incense perfumes I can think of, but they don't all remind me of temples or ceremonies. These do:

Montale - Full Incense (Catholic church)
Le Labo - Vetyver 46 (stone temple)
L'Artisan - Dzongka & Timbuktu (woody incense)
Chantecaille - Kalimantan (outdoor ritual)
Chanel - Coromandel (stone temple)
MCMC Fragrances - Amara (flowers and incense)
L'Occitane - Eau des Baux (woody incense)
Pacifica - Spanish Amber (woody incense)
0
In my opinion, Pacifica's "Tibetan Mountain Temple", Serge Luten's "Feminite du Bois", Cdg "Hinoki", Demeter's "Holy Water", L'artisan's "Passage D'Enfer" and Atelier's "Bois Blonds"
0
and Diptyque's "L'eau de Lente"
Hindu Temple Scent 0
This is magnificent and brings to mind the spirituality of a Hindu Temple. Utterly gorgeous. Sensual and Spiritual in unity.

Neela Vermeire - TRAYEE

M.Micallef - Shanaan.

Two scents by Oriza L. Legrand:

Relique d'Amour - just like the description says, The smell of an old chapel of Cistercian abbey. An old empty church in the summer evening, dark wooden furniture, windows open, lilies blooming in the overgrown garden.

Rêve d'Ossian - pine, frankincense, labdanum, sweet myrrh... not surprisingly, my room got a churchy feel after I sprayed this on a piece of paper and let it sit on my table for a couple of hours.
