smoky perfumes for beginners!! 0

hello! does anyone have recommendations for kind of smoky perfumes (feminine or unisex) but not too intense?  like campfire or blown out candle type of smoky.🏕️

i don't love super intense notes like patchouli, leather, suede, tobacco etc and tend to go for more woody/fruity/fresh/salty scents. i do like cardamom and cedarwood and lightly spicy things if that helps - my two fave perfumes are your turn and cedrus by chloe. though i would like to try and branch out and the thought of a lightly smoky perfume is intriguing me!

thank youuu 💖

I think Smoking Hot is kind of a beginner smoky frag, has tobacco but it's fruity sweet! give it a try

Welcome to the smoky side! 🏕️ Given that you love woodsy and fresh over heavy notes, these 3 should be perfect entry points (click on prefumes name to look tech. details):

🔥 By the Fireplace campfire smoke softened by chestnut and vanilla, very wearable and not aggressive the classic starting point for this genre.

🍓 Cape Heartache pine wood, red fruit and a whisper of campfire smoke in the dry down brilliant if you love fruity/fresh but want that smoky spark.

🌙 Campfire Nights smoky like a dying bonfire with lingering embers, a touch of orange blossom and balanced woods, budget friendly and very close to By the Fireplace but with a bit more character.

Do let me know if you try any of these!

If you want a soft, wearable smoky vibe, I’d suggest trying Cape Heartache first. It’s more like a forest + campfire feel with a slightly sweet fruity touch, so the smoke never gets too harsh. It really gives that cozy ‘bonfire in the woods’ vibe without going heavy.
For something a bit deeper, Odyssey Aoud is a good budget option. It has a mild woody-smoky oud feel, but still stays smooth and wearable, not too intense or animalic.
