Looking for replacement for Emporio Armani He Emporio Armani...lui/il/he/él/男... - Giorgio Armani
...Guys, I'm looking for a replacement for "Emporio Armani He". It has dense sandalwood blended with oakmoss (the main notes), and it's sweetened a little by tonka and amber.Which fragrances are similar or close to this one? Please help me out :)

...YSL Jazz is my favorite (not the La Collection version) It's a 'brown green' mix of moss and tobacco. Gentiane Blanche is pretty high on my list too. And I also love hay and grass, like in Malle's Bigarade Concentrée.What's yours?

...I'm very excited about Cyber Garden by Costume National! It features green ether, a vinyl accord and hybrid moss. Perfumer: Antoine Lie. I love innovative greens, like e.g. Hermès Gentiane Blanche. That's why I'm so curious about Cyber Garden.Has anyone smelled it yet!?

Teenage boys - fragrance recommendations
...Pi is nice because it's multifaceted, but it's rather sweet. How funny (and great) that he likes barber shop/fougère type scents! For that reason I'll remove the Chanel & Le Mâle, they are not so masculine. And I'll replace them with these ones:- Armani Code Ultimate (the original smells great but has bad performance)- Lalique Hommage à l'Homme (it's like Eau de Cartier with pepper, oud & saffron)

Teenage boys - fragrance recommendations
...According to you EDIT, your younger son is the bigger challenge :) My personal favorite is Lanvin Avant Garde. It's a bit gourmandish, which makes it modern,it also has some tobacco, making it lean to the masculine side. Avant Garde also has bright (but non-herbal) lavender which turns the whole into an original 'neon light' party-concoction. Very affordable too.If your younger son likes a little vanilla, then... ---XXXXlemale-removedXXXX--- I also encountered Baldessarini Strictly Private: a nice vanilla/amber combo that isn't too sweet. But if you're a niche connoisseur, you'll probably know a better amber. ---XXXXchanel-removedXXXX---One fragrance where I have real 'evidence' that young women like to smell it and guys like to wear, is Nikos Sculpture. It surprised me when I found out that it smells of orange blossom. A flower! It's a creamy scent, not too sweet and dries down with tonka. Perhaps niche orange blossom can do the same trick. Sculpture is really affordable. Another orange blossom is Dior Fahrenheit 32. Talking about Dior, Dior Homme Sport is worth checking.Another timeless masculine that many people swear by, is D&G pour Homme: In there heart there's a combo of medium strong lavender + peper, then it transitions to a smoooth tonka in the base (smells like vanilla to me), which is made a little more interesting by a pinch of tobacco. Please keep us updated about the process :)

...If you like spices in general and with a bit of a woody edge, then try Cartier Déclaration pour homme (original). It's unisex enough, I mean, spices are obviously for everyone. And it's a great balanced scent.

...I'm intrigued by the Flowers for Men series, though I haven't smelled any. Especially the 'flowers for men - LILAC'. This must have been a big challenge for the perfumer. Please, tell me what it smells like :)And if anyone feels like writing a review for 'flowers for men - ROSE', that would be much appreciated!

do cheaper scents require more applications?
by Sleuth | Perfume Discussions
...Mostly it doesn't depend on the price, but it depends on the fragrance. Citrus lasts only a little while. Spices last medium long. Vetiver (Cerruti 1881) can last a long time, that too depends on which fragrance. So it also depends on the fragrace 'note' (the kind of scent)In my opinion, 15-20 sprays is too much. In your case I would buy a travel sprayer to take fragrance with me, that way you don't have to apply 15-20 sprays in the beginning. Or just use a (scented) deodorant for the 2nd part of the day.Yes, it really depends a lot on the fragrance itself and on the notes. Online there are lists with fragrances that last a long time. Some of my favorites are:- Versace Dreamer (vanilla/tonka, affordable)- l'Eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake (clean, lasts more than 8 hours)- Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier (pleasant vanilla + lavender)- Also 'Old fashioned' scents can last a decent while, try Davidoff Zino (rosewood + patchouli), look for a bargain.- If it fits your character, the super spicy Opium pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent also lasts longer than 8 hours.

...I don't know what maple leaves smell like, but when you say maple, I think of the syrup and the warm sweet 'cosy' taste. I'm not a fan of sweet scents, but I did get the same warm and cosy vibe from the myrrh in Caron's Parfum Sacré. That one has bad longevity but myrrh is great! There's also Eau d'Italie Bois d'Ombrie if tobacco's still an option.

What is Your Favorite Le Labo, Which are you curious About?
by Sleuth | Perfumes & Brands
...Since any and all feedback is welcome, I gotta say that I'm not a fan of this house because I don't like their musk. I'd focus on scents that are low on musk and that offer something other brands don't offer.

...I haven't smelled them, but all 4 sound intriguing. I don't like liquorice (m.loup) and honey (wwdipis), and I don't know what broom smells like. I would gravitate towards Boisé. It seems like a great thing to have next autumn. Is there one scent that 'temps' you more than the others?
