...A big thank you to the Surrey Police for giving my husband a £30 fine at four in the morning as he was try to defrost the car in sub-zero temperatures before work. It is apparently illegal to leave the engine running in a vehicle in case it leads to a high speed pursuit situation. The car in question was one of these! My daughter's due for its MOT. You could catch it on roller skates (if you wanted too!)

My boyfriend wants to name one of them Amalia, so we will go with that and probably have a name change along the way. :D I do like Bandit still. ...Cryptic:Rubyred, it's mid-January and we've had two measly coatings of less than an inch of snow. For the past couple days we've had this weird fog that's like something out of a horror movie. I'm so sorry for you in that extreme heat, though. :(We had some freezing fog for a few days which actually caused a helicopter crash near the Thames in London, due to an unseen crane on a construction site.

...Amber is be prepared for disruption, all our schools closed before lunch today. Many people are moaning about that, but it doesn't happen often and the kids are all out in the fresh air, getting exercise and storing up some wonderful memories. So I say boo to the Grumplestiltskins!

...I spent Christmas with a vile heavy cold, cooked dinner for 10 basically running on fumes, then conked out and had to go to bed at 5pm! :( New Year was celebrated with a stonking migraine, two days in bed in the dark. Yay!
