... Also, a brand new bottle of a fragrance will smell different than an older bottle that's been used for a while, even with no reformulation. The nature of the juice being exposed to air for a longer period of time makes a difference.

... kittea On the topic of reformulations... My hot take is I think a) reformulations happen less often than the Internet would lead you to believe, and b) when reformulations do happen, the IFRA is kind of just used as a scapegoat, and the real reason is cost-cutting measures. I think this is true. Perfume companies seek profit just like everyone else. Just because something is in new packaging doesn't mean it's been reformulated. A new bottle of something will smell different than the old bottle you just finished, even if you bought them at the same time.; that's the nature of the juice.

... Krustyy Nishane. Wulong Cha and Sultan Vetiver killed my nose to the degree that I wasn't really hyped to sample the rest of the box. Same here, but with "Afrika-Olifant | Nishane" I don't need my perfume to last three days 😄

In the beginning of my perfume journey I thought my whole taste has changed and I started to sell or swap certain fragrances from my collection - only to buy them back later when I started craving them again. This is my experience also. I regret a lot of things I swapped away, back when I didn't know about reformulations and discontinuations. Also, what I used to turn my nose up at twenty years ago, I now adore as an "old lady"! Give me vintage any day of the week.
