Perfumes that smell of desert

Hi folks!

here's my signature scent whose notes are completely far from my comfort zone

Sabbia Calda del Deserto

And yet..it takes me to the moon 🌙 it smells of dry lands, herbs, spices and further amazing things that can't be explained by just reading notes.

Please help me explore other scents like this! It's an unknown world to me and I'd like to try more of this. Someone already suggested me those ones: Alula, Cairo, 2 maroc tauer references.

I'm a 38 year old woman. 😀

Check out L'Air du Desert Marocain by Tauer if you haven’t already. It's the desert perfume. Dry, spicy, a bit smoky. Literally smells like golden heat.

If you're looking for a "spice market" desert scent, try Aziyadé

If you want a dry incense / amber-y fragrance, try Larmes du Désert

I'm awaiting the discovery set from Roan Perfumes.  One of their fragrances Sahara Song might fit what you're looking for.

Eau Nabati is giving me dry desert vibes if I wear it on a hot day.

Many people describe it as desert balanced with green, but I either don't pick up on the green or I am used to the desert having a green element to it from my time spent living in the desert. There is actually a lot of vegetation in the desert and they have their own scent, but still plant like.

In fact people voted Dune Eau de Toilette as its inspiration Reference. So you might be right ! Thanks for suggesting !

Hello! Immortelle as a note gives me desert vibes, scorching sun and dried out bushes.

You might like Sables or L'Eau des Immortels which are centered around immortelle.

I also enjoyed the myrrh in 403 Myrrh Shadow if you want to go this route, and the dry date in Desert Suave.

Side note, you all make me want to get my nose on Andy Tauer's creations ASAP !
