Mini MCM Bag in the Bag
As a miniature bottle in my wife's Advent calendar, this little mini bottle in the shape of a typical MCM bag was hidden behind door 22.
The scent starts with a fruity composition consisting of, as almost always, apple. It is not a Granny Smith; it is more of a Golden Delicious. You get a sweet, juicy apple and not a sour one. That's clear from the start. In the opening, however, the apple is not the most dominant note but is balanced between the apple and the apricot. The pepper is, in my opinion, only listed and possibly present in such a small percentage that it is not perceptible.
So far, the scent is definitely feminine.
The opening passes quickly. After about 5 minutes, it transitions into the drydown, and here the scent develops a slight twist from sweet or fruity to a floral fragrance. The jasmine and tuberose take the lead here and remain linear until the end for a good 6 hours, maybe even less. More is not really needed, as women always have a large, preferably MCM bag with them, making the small MCM bottle a daily companion alongside lipstick, eyeliner... and it can be reapplied.
The base note, which should actually consist of tonka bean, amber, cedarwood, and moss, is absolutely not perceptible to my nose, and I have several perfumes that contain these notes. Nope, not a trace. In my opinion, this would have made the scent truly unisex, but without these notes, it is 100% feminine for me.
In summary, the scent is not a banger and nothing special. It could also be something from La Riva or similar drugstore fragrances like Rossmann/DM. The scent has no recognizability, but the bottle looks nice. Not a blind buy candidate.
