A Pinterest-perfect pinky rose. I couldn’t flag the matcha, but the tangerine adds a sprightly clarity and sweetness to the overall scent. The dry down is pastel rosewater, with a faint shampoo tone. @perbibibibi compared it to &honey hair oil, and it’s a pretty close match to the &honey “Melty” shampoo I’ve been loving lately. Sister scent to Byredo’s Young Rose, with a tablespoon more rose and a teaspoon less citrus. Longevity is Liis-like, but it’ll hang for a whole day in a fluffy jumper. A safe shot for those in want of a fresh, balanced rose.

Mental Snapshot: White doves nestled on a bough of cherry blossoms. Pink rain boots prancing across fresh-mown grass. A bubble bath in a claw-foot tub. Perfectly bouncy curls, pinned with pearls. A macro photo of a blush-pink rose, freckled with dew drops.

Rose Struck

Even though this is fairly simple and straightforward, I immediately understood who this was made for at the first sniff. This is very Cher from Clueless or Elle Woods from Legally Blonde or even Jackie from Yellowjackets. If this fragrance was an item of clothing it would 100% be a short, plaid skirt. Truly a scent for the hot overachievers out there!

Rose for Young Rich Girls

Rose is sometimes associated with older persons but this has a young feel to it. I imagine a young girl from a old money family experimenting with her first rose fragrance. This is a rose that feels so juicy you can imagine biting into it. Even with this sweet fruitiness, this is still a light and delicate rose fragrance. While these notes are listed as a pyramid, I found the fragrance to be linear, you get everything upfront and ready to go. So there isn't much of a journey but what you get is good.

It doesn't last too long, maybe 4 hours. The projection is fairly weak too, its more of a skin fragrance. For $175 you can get a 50ml bottle.
