"Hey, what did you spray - smells good!" :)
I discovered three fragrances from a series by 100Bon while surfing, which were new and not listed on Parfumo: Chap. 3 - Ambre & Tonka is one of them.
The three fragrances are by Jean-Claude and Céline Ellena - even I know that the former is a kind of perfumer legend and the latter is his daughter.
Since I am also active in the research area here, I submitted the fragrances and was curious about how they would turn out :)
In the opening and for a long time afterwards, I can actually pick out a single note here: mandarin.
I have proven to like this note in perfumes, and I have several perfumes with this note in my collection.
However, I cannot discern what this note is intertwined with; of course, I can read which notes are listed here (I submitted the fragrance myself... ;>) but it only provides a general impression:
Beautiful scent. With good sillage, O-Ton (and title of this review) from another room (!) after spraying:
"Hey, what did you spray - smells good!" :)
Since I love vanilla fragrances, vanilla is probably not entirely uninvolved here, but I cannot pick out this note.
In general, while wearing/testing, I had to think of Grand Soir (which I find very beautiful):
The scent does not smell like Grand Soir, but it reminds me of it. Comparing the notes of both fragrances, there are similarities; perhaps the 'overall impression' is similar.
I must specifically mention the sprayer here (this applies to all three fragrances):
It’s amazing, one of the best in my entire collection, it’s like a rain shower that distributes a fine perfume mist instead of water...
