Green, classic and elegant
I received the bottling of Fatamorgana as a gift with a perfume that I bought here on Parfumo.
I didn't know the brand or the fragrance.
I tested it and thought oh that's an old fragrance, could be from the 60s.
But look, it's a creation from 2021, you can be so wrong.
The opening is very green and fresh, yet at the same time very classic and elegant.
I don't notice the fruity notes at all, but galbanum is very prominent.
Galbanum is known for smelling like fresh grass and that's exactly how it smells in the opening, fresh and green but at the same time very well-groomed.
In the DD, the floral notes come to the fore.
An opulent floral sea of violet, jasmine and rose unfolds.
However, the woody notes prevent the fragrance from being too feminine.
And it stays that way until the end.
Elegant, classic, green, fresh, woody and very floral.
I see it more on a more mature lady or a more mature gentleman.
Performance is above average without being too obtrusive, so it fits perfectly with this rather noble DNA.
Unfortunately, I no longer know who gave me this bottling as a gift, but I would like to thank them here anyway in case they might read the review at some point.
