Tea shopping
This is a photorealistic green tea fragrance. Compared to other tea perfumes I've tried (Le Labo's Matcha & Thé Noir, Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea, Memo's Winter Palace, Vilhelm's Dear Polly, Jo Malone's Earl Grey & Cucumber), Tea Service relies on very little other than its main tea notes (jasmine, oolong and osmanthus). The result is a strong clean tea scent that is prominent and not masked by floral, smoke or other distractions. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on your affinity with astringent green tea. Unfortunately the realism of the tea scent also carries a bit of bitterness which gives it a 'dusty' tea shop vibe. This is improved by the jasmine and peach taking over in the dry down. There's also musk in the background but for once it's truly in a support role. Longevity and sillage are suprisingly good for an indie company.

Photorealistic steeped tea
This is a beautifully rendered scent. I know it's meant to represent oolong - to my nose it's more of a jasmine green tea with an undercurrent of peach. There's a wisp of something dark, smoky, almost steeped about it - just like tea, it's somewhat tannic - but that darkness doesn't take over the composition, instead providing a realistic backdrop.

In the air, it's a blend of jasmine tea, green tea, and oolong tea, all naturally sweetened by osmanthus and a little juice.

It sits close to the skin but it lasts. "Real" enough that it practically makes my mouth water, and real enough in a way that speaks to the small-batch quality of the ingredients.

Am genuinely impressed by this - will be keeping an eye on future releases from this house!

Photorealistic oolong + jasmine tea
Like getting your face close to a steaming cup of oolong and jasmine tea, or dipping your nose in a freshly opened packet of a high quality blend of those teas. If you are searching for the most realistic green tea note in fragrance, you need seek no more.

Both oolong and jasmine have, to my nose, a certain musty tone that I don’t love wearing, but that’s just me.

Dries down beautifully, without losing the tea notes at all.

Timber chest with memories
Tea Service hits immediately with an amped-up oolong tea. Not the quiet, meditative kind you sip in silence, but a bold, fragrant version with intensity turned up to 200%. It’s deeply floral, with jasmine rising fast and prominent, bringing a perfumed, slightly waxy edge.

Surprisingly, this fragrance conjured the scent of an old cobbler’s shop - leather, timber, shoe polish, even dust. It unlocked a vivid, deeply personal memory. It smells exactly like my grandfather’s home (he was a cobbler): timber floors, old leather tools, and that peculiar combination of polish, wood, and quiet stillness.

Notable Notes I Could Detect:

Oolong tea – bold and sharp, almost herbal at times

Jasmine – heavily present, adding floral density

Leather/Polish – not listed, but unmistakably evoked (nostalgic and intimate rather than animalic)

Dry wood tones – linking back to timber floors and old-world interiors

This isn’t a perfume I can wear - too much emotion, too strange, too much like opening a memory chest. And yet, I can’t stop smelling it. It’s haunting in the best way. I wouldn’t call it beautiful in the traditional sense, but it’s artistic, arresting, and a little ghostly.

Personal Note:
While I wouldn’t reach for this to wear out, I deeply respect what it’s doing. It’s one of those rare scents that tells a story, and it happens to overlap with mine in a very personal, almost surreal way.

Verdict:
Not wearable for me, but unforgettable. A scent time capsule.
Ranked: #6 out of 6 (not due to lack of quality, but wearability. Who knows, though, i mught come back to it again).

Fruity tea
This is a good tea scent but, unfortunately, I do not enjoy jasmine scents.

At first spray, it's straight jasmine tea—fresh and green but with that sharp, aromatic and powdery white floral quality that gives me a headache. It was all I could smell for the first two hours until some of the fruitiness started to emerge.

Thankfully, after three hours the jasmine notes faded and the black tea came out strong, rich and earthy, further accompanied by the fruits. Very pleasant, somewhat sweet, and quite peachy. It remains this way for most of the remainder of the wear, with the fruit and tea subsiding a bit when the musk comes out about six hours into it. Also, the longevity is phenomenal, lasting over 10 hours on my skin.

Overall, this is a pretty great perfume. If it didn't have the jasmine at the open, I would have enjoyed sampling this much more as the middle and latter stages of the wear were what I was hoping the whole experience would be like.

Powdery, fruity jasmine tea. However, it has a humid, almost mushroom-y note that doesn't work for Not as fresh or aromatic as the typical tea scent.

Pure straight tea, like I'd dragged my hand through a pot of gentle jasmine green tea.
Smells quite literally like tea, not 'inspired by’.

Definitely a hot weather perfume - feels like it's cooling me down just by wearing it. Never loses its bitter earthiness, never gets heavy.

Very distinct, slightly smoky teen note that I like, but I prefer to have it in a bowl in front of my nose.
