Magnolia Nobile Acqua di Parma 2009 Eau de Parfum

For some time now, I've been looking for a fragrance that honors the beautiful, delicate magnolia, that gives it the space its shy scent needs, that carries it. If a fragrance name promises exactly that, then Magnolia Nobile Eau de Parfum . Some reviews of the fragrance also read beautifully. And so I set out to test Magnolia Nobile Eau de Parfum.
Until now, I couldn't make friends with Acqua di Parma fragrances, the DNA was too strong and repetitive for me. But I wanted to encounter Magnolia Nobile.
So I sprayed on the perfume and, as expected, was overwhelmed by bergamot and citrus accords. Inhale, exhale, wait and see. The floral bouquet was already dancing in the background, which I searched for the magnolia. In the drydown, I saw the efforts of tuberose, jasmine and rose to push the magnolia forward, the efforts of sandalwood and vetiver to give it support, but finally, after an hour, everything collapsed. The fine flowers were buried under patchouli, the vanilla had already run away before its appearance and the bergamot grinned cheekily at me.
Almost painful for a magnolia lover like me.
I think with fewer antagonists, the fragrance could have been really great, but unfortunately it couldn't live up to its name.
