To tea or not to tea
This tea-fragrance is not the kind of scent which will stop people dead in their tracks. (Tea-scents never do that). Neither is it as subdued and refined as the "classic" green-tea scent by BVLGARI which established a fond place in my heart. On the positive side, one could say that "Té verde" is at one with modern lifestyles, at least the top-notes are revitalising and fresh. Presented with lovely simplicity in a green bottle, the overall effect is not as low-key as one might expect. "Té verde" is not really reticent and offers a mix of geranium-leaves, freesia, orange blossom and an earthy greenness with spicy coriander and mate. Somehow, this fragrance is too outspoken for me. It's neither sensual nor refined and tender, but undecided and too sharp. No deliciously soft, fragrant veil here, but an overblown green liquid someone left in the tea-pot for too long.
