Wow, this one is...grown-up
Why do I emphasize this? Because this type of fragrance isn't really my cup of tea, but that's just a side note. I can actually understand the listed fragrance pyramid 100%. The berries are gone for me after just 30 seconds, but the rest is simply true. Lots of amber, plenty of powder, gently spiced with sandalwood, jasmine subtly in the background, a lot of sweet vanilla, and soooo old school, I somehow feel catapulted back to the 70s/80s. Could it be the oakmoss note that resonates throughout? No idea, the fragrance is definitely not for me, as it's not my usual style, but: It has something. I'm sure there will be many who will be thrilled by it.
Who could it be suitable for? I would say, established women who are no longer in their teenage years and have a penchant for classic, powdery, warm-ambered, and sweet fragrances. But honestly, I wouldn't have a problem if a man wore it...the smokiness could easily pass for tobacco, and it's spicy enough for that too.
The longevity is just average, as is the sillage, but at least that reflects in the price. So...let's get to it!
