Summer Dream with Drawbacks
Hm...I can't say too much about the scent. Or rather: I don't want to, as the longevity is so pathetic. I am stubborn about this. At least I can tell you that the mimosa has a very natural quality and dominates the scent with a herbaceous-green and penetrating character from start to finish. At first, it really hits you in the face (even though the sillage is rather average after the initial shock), so you have to like this little flower, otherwise it can become unpleasant. I can perceive the lychee well, but to my nose, the scent remains rather floral - anything else would not be allowed by the mimosa. The rose also contributes to this; at first, I thought I didn't notice it at all, but it is indeed present, reminding me more of a tea rose. I also imagine something aquatic, which is probably more due to my association with a summer day by the pool - I even detect a slight chlorine note, which may sound strange, but is not meant negatively, as for some reason, I have a fondness for a (subtle) hint of chlorine.
