The cleanest, greenest rose!
I can't believe I actually like this. It opens with an overdose of rose, and I mean rose everything, flowers, stems, thorns, leaves and all, like you took a tumble in baba's patch of Bulgarian roses and got stuck in the biggest rose bush with no chance of escape. It's kind of powdery in there, not quite to the point of suffocation, but pretty darn close. Like doing lines of sparkly, bubbly rose detergent up your greedy little nose and basking in the rush. I should be hating this, but perhaps because it lacks sweetness, I am enjoying the hit of Green Cream on my olfactory nerve. I think it's the rhubarb that saves her for me, giving her a tangy, bitter green aspect that I like. As she mellows down, she smells incredibly clean, like a rose soap, which gently disperses little musk bubbles of quiet serenity all around you, making her the greenest, cleanest rose of them all.
